Ha, why do you need Shantae's voice lines, when you could have these:I know have access to all Shantae voice lines. I can know here Shantae say "what" in three slightly different ways! Wow!

Well, I really wouldn't say I'm chocolate.You and I’s skin, technically.
Yeah, I saw that post scrolling back. The Watermelon Tawna seems like a victim of unfortunate naming, rather than being outright malicious. I'm sure they'll adress it later on.CTR skin that is, intentionally or not, racist.
I have some kind of dark skin, but due to my times on the beach and not from birth.Well, I really wouldn't say I'm chocolate.
Okay, maybe milk chocolate at lightest.

I honestly feel completely pleased with the Smash franchise now that Ultimate got everything and everyone I wanted outside of Crash. All I will say is that it’s going to be extremely interesting to look back on Smash Bros once we have the entire roster in front of us.
Like, past the stage of, “What if there’s another pass?” Knowing that the roster is done, and may never get any bigger.
It’s weird to think about.
I fully believe they’ll be another Smash game on the Switch U one day, but it won’t be for a long while. All I will say is that it’s going to be extremely interesting to look back on Smash Bros once we have the entire roster in front of us.

The competitive scene could also reflect on how their tier lists turn out to be when the final patch does drop.I fully believe they’ll be another Smash game on the Switch U one day, but it won’t be for a long while.
So yeah, it’ll be cool to reflect once the roster is complete.
promoting literacy with a book is pretty ironicAnybody here like obscure Super Mario Bros. stuff from the 90s? This is a weird thing I found, it's an official Nintendo album cassette called White Knuckle Scorin'. It's probably best known for a song about Bowser singing to Princess Peach called Ignorance is Bliss, which was featured in a semi-popular Newgrounds animation back in the day.
Despite all the Nintendo branding, only the first song is original and has anything to do with Mario, the rest of the songs are just a random hodgepodge. However the cassette features a short little comic featuring the Mario cast with the dialogue having an occasional "cue song" to play the next song that vaguely correlates to what's going on in the scene.
The whole thing is supposed to promote literacy or something, which is why the original song has lyrics about reading and the contents of the comic are all about our heroes overcoming because they're able to read. Here is the bizarre comic that came with it.
Or just make her an actual Watermelon. Just like, a straight up Watermelon.Ngl, this could be fixed pretty easily.
Just either make the fur this red or a tiny bit brighter, or just go pink which also fits the watermelon idea.
But right now... the skin is just a huge and full mess.
I have some kind of dark skin, but due to my times on the beach and not from birth.
And yeah, this can be fixed... but we need to let them know it should be done to make the change happen.

This is the weirdest **** I've seen today lol. Even more weirded out by the fact that the song was done by Jellyfish; they're a pretty great underrated band.Anybody here like obscure Super Mario Bros. stuff from the 90s? I've given up on the dream of displaying them like that. My collection is completely up-to-date, and I've run out of room for new ones. One thing that I do have to say i’m especially excited for is the fact that if I continue on this terrifying path of obtaining each amiibo, i’ll be able to display the entire roster via amiibo at some point in my dude den.
Like, the fact that the roster is so huge, encompassing so many of my favorite characters, games, and series...it’s kinda surreal.
I haven’t determined if I would rather display them in, like, cases hung on the wall like the character select screen, or just on hanging shelves. But I don’t even have a completed dude den to put them in, so...
It’s the dream though. It’s the dream.
Topping, Reaching. It's semantics as far as i'm concerned.Jones never said "topping" though, just "reaching" those levels. Third party series like Resident Evil would be able to do that even if the "core Smash fanbase" isn't excited about them.
I also don't think there are any Nintendo games in the pipeline Nintendo is desperate to promote, especially by the time fighters 4 and 5 are released.
Well I do have a theory. One that people will most likely scoff at so i'll just leave it at that.Which 1st parties, at this point, would they push? The only 3 that seem reasonable are Pokémon, Fire Emblem, and Astral Chain, but only one of them would be entirely new/need the push.
Adding a 3rd party not only gives the incentive for fans of those series to get a Switch, but it also creates potential for that series to succeed on Nintendo platforms, something that Nintendo has struggled with for over a decade.
I don’t buy this idea that the Fighter Pass would dip in quality just to appease Nintendo fans. I’d say most folks have come to like Joker, and were ecstatic about Banjo.
If Spirits are disconfirmations (which, information suggests that might be the case) and upgrades don’t happen (which, is likely) the amount of 1st party properties for Smash drops substantially. Yes, it’s based on speculation. However, so is the idea that spirits aren’t disconfirmations.
Frankly I don’t even care if we get two 1st parties. I simply don’t expect it, and I feel that adding 3rd parties heightens the quality of the crossover.
Yes, it’s an opinion. But I think you’d find there are plenty of people who think it’s likely and makes sense. That doesn’t mean folks wanting first parties are wrong. I would simply say that, if you ask me, chances are that it will be an entirely 3rd party pass.
That sentence describes basically everything interesting and worthwhile within this known universe.Anybody here like obscure Super Mario Bros. stuff from the 90s?
Nintendo was a very different company back in the day, that's for sure.Anybody here like obscure Super Mario Bros. stuff from the 90s? Ah, so you’ve kept yours in-box? I took mine all out and originally had them in a display cabinet prior to moving out of my parents. Aside from the new ones that are still in-box (I would have taken them out, but I don’t have a good home for them just yet), I haven’t been able to find a home for my old ones that are still boxed away in the basement.I've given up on the dream of displaying them like that. My collection is completely up-to-date, and I've run out of room for new ones.
Either I buy an extremely long bookcase, or I take them out of the box. Can't see either happening in the near future. Until then, they'll remained carefully crammed in a closet.
Little did they know, DQ isnt just a generic RPG, its THE generic rpg which just makes it even betterLet's assume nothing for now and wait for people to complain in masses about Hero being OP later.
I kid you not, I've seen someone actually try to argue DQ is a generic RPG franchise and make that a reason for Hero not belonging.
If you like stuff like that, I once read through all the Super Mario Bros. movie scripts and found a lot of uh... interesting dialogue that's funny to look back at now since Mario's tone is more set in stone than it was in the early 90s. Here are some highlights I have saved from one of the scripts, I think it was the 3rd draft. funnily enough, there is a lot I can't post because of the swearing. That sentence describes basically everything interesting and worthwhile within this known universe.
So yes.
There’s also Splatocalypse in Splatoon 2 coming up... which reminds me I need to work on my ability loadout...Switch is getting more maintenance.

I'm just so happy that when the final Fighter Pass characters are added, the stocked roster will be a perfect rectangle. I know most prefer unstacked, but I like Mii Fighters in a single slot, and some echoes are an eyesore next to each other. All I will say is that it’s going to be extremely interesting to look back on Smash Bros once we have the entire roster in front of us.

I really don't understand why it needs to be a square so badly. I mean yeah it looks better, but it's not really too big of a deal.I'm just so happy that when the final Fighter Pass characters are added, the stocked roster will be a perfect rectangle. I know most prefer unstacked, but I like Mii Fighters in a single slot, and some echoes are an eyesore next to each other.
While more is obviously better, at that point, being able to see the roster filled in like that, it'll be complete for me.
So sorry for the unstacked-preferring perfectionists out there.
****’s wackyIt's been so long since I've been in the social speculation threads. :')
How's everyone, and is this the current one?
It's really changed a lot since it started. More spawns, for a start. The gym system is a lot better too. You now get coins when your pokes get kicked out, so you're not incentivised to try and keep your pokes there forever. And despite how much I feel the obvious push towards microtransaction and clear mobile bull**** all over the game, with a little bit of walking, I've really just been having a great time with it. I went out and caught some Pokemon with a friend last night and it was a great little experience and hunting Pokemon while on my walks has been a very refreshing little experience. I doubt I'll get super into it or anything, but it's much more fun and interesting
The crop tool.Anybody got any good tips for cropping images?
