Sabi hasn't talked about anything regarding Smash recently.

So I don't think there has been insider talk at least with them.

For starters because they claim that the news came from Sabi when they haven't said anything regarding Smash recently.

Ruby/Sapphire - Battle Tower.
Diamond/Pearl - Battle Tower.
Black/White - There's a little bit of the region left, but after that, Battle Tower Subway.
X/Y - Looker sidequest, Battle Tower Maison
Sun/Moon - Ultra Beast sidequest, Battle Tower Tree

Pokemon postgame sucking isn't some new thing, it's usually an afterthought added in 3rd versions. (Which in all fairness, X/Y didn't have and US/UM blew their chance with).
At least the past three gens have had online matchmaking though.

This wasn’t something i’ve heard from an insider I personally know, but I assume popular speculation is that Hero is coming in July.

I personally could see it in the next 2 weeks.

I can clarify.

Basically, I was told from a non insider friend that there was stuff concerning Sabi in the Geno thread, which there is. That in itself has lead to speculation as to what would induce salt.

I do not believe the comments are necessarily recently found, as Sabi can’t talk much on Nintendo stuff from what i’ve read.

EDIT: I am from the Geno Thread (looks at picture) and we have been talking about it for awhile now. The big thing is, one of Sabi's source (I am guessing THE source) said in a very vague way, that The Hero's Video (A kin to Joker's new content video before his release) might be received poorly.

Nothing has been said as to what that thing is, so we are in the dark as much as anyone else.

Fatmanonice in the Geno thread talked about it. Sabi herself has said that she privately shares info with him in a discord server so it's legit.

Sabi hasn't said anything at their Discord, so maybe he is talking about stuff from way before June at best.

If not, something fishy is going on if someone is lying about Sabi.

Just about anything. There's a higher chance of there being salt following any given Smash presentation than there is if I checked my spice drawer right now.

Personally, it might just be that Dragon Quest, for the LEGENDARY series that it is portrayed as in Japan, might get the Final Fantasy treatment.

The bare minimum...after Joker got so much love. It seems possible, but who knows?

Probably a Geno mii costume, probably other square characters like Crono getting skinned alive and sold as fursuits, maybe Hero being RNG.

As a DQ fan, we already have more love than FF got w/ 4 different heroes and acknowledgement that the series has more than one game. I'd be fine with two songs and no spirits. Doesn't mean that isn't what Sabi's referring to, but I don't really think there'd be that much salt.

Sakurai comes out and says, after Banjo and Kazooie, we will have no more fighters. The pass will end at Banjo. 4 and 5 will no longer happen.

That's actually true if we talk about Discord speculation.

I've met many people there who despise Sora because of Disney, so if even a Mii Costume got in, many people would be mad about the idea of Sora potentially having a shot for future Smash titles.

I personally feel fine with Sora, but sadly I've met many people who don't.
