Dark Phoenix and New Mutants shouldn't even exist to begin with given Disney's purchase and its eventual integration into the MCU.
Fox's X-Men ended with Logan. Simple as that.
The former is also bound to bomb given the writers and producers of Fant4stic is involved.

Agreed. They should just can this film and New Mutants. Given New Mutants delays I'm certain at this point it'll be resorted to a streaming site or something.

I'm just saying any film or something that has those writers of Fant4stic involved is doomed to fail.
That and again given X-Men is eventually joining the MCU what's even the point of Dark Phoenix and New Mutants? It'll just be leading nowhere.

Ok but Disney buying them doesn't really mean much when it's almost finished. That being said I don't hate the movie for daring to exist after Logan, I pity the movie because jesus christ hasn't it gotten delayed for reshoots and stuff for well over a year or two at this point?

That said being Fant4stic's involvement in the film. Two other reasons Dark Phoenix will bomb is due to the lack of interest given Logan's conclusion by fans and competition with Godzilla 2, Rocket Man and Secret Life of Pets 2 which will destroy it.

Well, Dark Phoenix is supposed to be the ending of the X-Men films, I'd assume. And New Mutants is a standalone adventure.
You know, movies are still worth something if there's not going to be a sequel.

I never really saw the Melee speculation scene. I think he was on my radar when I made a "Smash 2" list of characters to add. But he was a given for me at least?you know what i was genuinely thinking about the other day

Nah if anything that was Logan. What better way then for the newer generation to take on the X-Men's legacy in the future? Can't be any more perfect then that.
IMO. I ought to respect others opinions as well since some people actually likes Alien 3 which I don't.

Well, considering it touches on almost none of the ongoing plots of the X-Men series and only featured Logan and Xavier.... I think that Scott, Ororo, and Jean deserve an actual ending to their stories too.

Haven't posted in a very long time - "Brave" may be the protaganists from Unravel 2 for Switch. The Youtube trailer is giving some people links to the smash website too. Strange happenings. Don't know if you've all discussed this, but something Smash related and not Avengers or whatever shut down the main discussion thread
