What do you guys think of the chances of getting an extra bonus character after the Season Pass.

Like how we gotthat Sakurai decides to end it with last extra character. Think its more likely then a second season pass and if so who would you guys imagine the character being?

I could see it being either Waluigi or Geno. Dixie is a possibility as well (Imagine her reveal being an continuation and final trilogy to the reveals with Banjo chilling withand.

I have a small feeling that they might do Geno as a final bonus Character. Although I would want at least two so the roster stays even

Geno definitely makes lot of sense indeed. Why I listed him given Sakurai also wants him ever since Brawl.

Lets be perfectly honest though. Dixie is probably the most likely DK rep at this point. Funky I feel would more likely be a costume.

I have a small feeling that they might do Geno as a final bonus Character. Although I would want at least two so the roster stays even

inb4 we get Geno and Edelgard as the last two DLC Characters and as additional DLC no less. I'd take it though as long as we get Geno as an additional DLC fighter I don't care who else gets in even if it is a normal Goomba that costs $10 for no reason.

None appeal to me really, first one is the closest one but I would rather get Heihachi if we're getting someone from Tekken and while I like VJ there are other Capcom characters that I would like. Dante is cool but I dont really care about EWJ at all. Doomguy and Scorpion would be fine... in different packs as they thread similar ground thematically (hell) and M rated franchises. Klonoa and Heavy just seem like random picks.

Milatary Dude Funky is Highkey his best design. I think Dixie's been more requested, and she's actually a main Kong. Not some reject like Chunky or Tiny. She'd be a cool DLC choice, but Funky wouldn't be too bad either.

Listen, if they add both Eggman and Wily as Separate Bosses, you know it'd be clean. Too bad all SF bosses are normal human sized. An Akuma boss would legit be the best thing to add for such a mode.

Different people will complain about different things. Anime people will hate the Looney Tunes, and Cartoon fans will hate the "Annie-Mays". I don't care too much as long as the character is dope. Which Crash, Jin, MMX, Scorpion and so on would be.

The hard truth is that Porky doesn't have much going for him besides being a major antagonist in EarthBound. He's not exactly what you'd call "highly requested", his series has been dead for over 15 years, and there's honestly plenty of other options who would be a better fit for DLC.

Cue Porky alongside other Nintendo villains (Black Shadow, Hades, Skull Kid, etc.) watching through a window from outside on the verge of tears as andall celebrates inside a pub.

Never complained about cartoony characters, just that I didn't liked your choices. Didn't really saw anyone complaining cartoony characters but rather that they preferred other choices.

Really the only problem with any pick whatsoever is the people that complain about anime characters or realistic characters, and that mostly comes from people who believe Smash should only be cartoony characters.

ngl, all of these are pretty underwhelming. Either not enough variety or the characters just make no sense imho

Like for example, Doomguy and Scorpion kinda overlap imo. They're both western characters known for their mature and fairly controversial games. both of them in separate packs, fine, but they don't really make sense together in the same one, if you ask me.

I'm just asking for a little more variety, that's all.

It's just that I don't see it happening. Like, at all. Sakurai said he added PP because he wanted more villains, but he also said that PP was a character who everyone would recognize. The only reason we'd be getting Porky is because he'd give us another villain, and I don't think that's a good enough reason to justify him getting in over someone who's legitimately highly requested or iconic enough to be recognized by a majority of casuals.

Another non/Link Zelda Character, Mother series villain, Paper Mario character of some kind (paper Mario himself or maybe the evil possessed Peach from 1000yr door), or a Kid Icarus villain (Hades or Medusa) would be nice. I know the latter two already have spirits, but I can dream for the time being at least.

They probably copyright 'Bandai Namco'. Don't forget that the Bandai half of Bandai Namco also makes figures, plushies, and other such Merch, which would explain their name on merchandise akin to Sega's being on the figures of Ryuko & Satsuki from Kill la Kill that I have because Sega also makes figures and such.
Every game release I've seen in Japan though shows FromSoftware publishing the games themselves, if they were Bandai Namco owned than Bandai Namco would publish the games..or, at the very least, FromSoftware owns the series and has a publishing wing akin to how while Atlus is owned by Sega but they maintain ownership of the Persona series (hence why Atlus was added to the Character Copyright info in Smash Ultimate and why they publish all of their own games in Japan and the West), as such that furthers my point about Dark Souls not being a Bandai Namco series.
Granted, I know that Bandai Namco doesn't own FromSoftware because they are owned by the Kadokawa Corporation.
Beyond that, were FromSoftware owned by Bandai Namco, than Bandai Namco would have published their latest game, Sekiro, which was published by Activision, or one of their other popular games, Bloodborne, which was published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Both games were published by FromSoftware themselves in Japan, just like all of the Dark Souls games.

Notice no mention of Bandai Namco on the Japanese box for Dark Souls.

Its possible, but I would bet on one or both of two scenarios.
- A Fighters Pass Season 2 featuring new characters that weren't preplanned (so no supposed rule about Spirits deconfirming characters)
- An Echo Fighters Pass, featuring popular characters that could be Echoes such as Dixie Kong, Princess Hilda, Raichu, Impa, Metal Sonic (since Shadow is an Assist Trophy), Byleth, etc.

Which is kind of a weird complaint in the first place when Captain Falcon is a dude inspired by American Superheroes, complete with the Hellenistic physic and semi-realistic face. Not to mention Samus, and OoT Link, who was specifically the more mature looking version of that character. All in the first game.

Like, I sorta get the complaint with FE characters since they have a bit of a samey aesthetic, and 3 others are based on Marth's tool-kit. Much in the same way other SF fans don't like a ton of Shoto characters, or some MK fans dislike the Ninjas. But it's not like Shulk's too similar to them. Bayo and Richter are anime as **** too.
