Now if they actually explored how the cars overthrew society, that would honestly make the film more memorable. I’ve seen cars so many times but I still barely remember it. I like pretty much everything Pixar puts out, but not everything they make is a game changerAgree on Finding Nemo - it's a beautiful film, but I never found the story or characters that engaging
And Cars is just a bizarre idea
"What if toys were alive", "what if monsters lived in their own societies" and "what if superheroes had mundane lives" are all interesting questions, but has anyone other than John Lasseter really thought "wow, what if cars lived in societies?"
That’s your opinion though, which is completely fair and your entitled to it. It’s early for toy story 4, but incredible 2?I've seen both Incredibles 2 and TS4. Incredibles 2 isn't even comparable to the first one, and TS4, regardless of whether or not you think it's good, is easily the worst of the four films.
After seeing the reviews for both movies, I'm wondering if Disney is paying these critics to leave good reviews, because I feel like I saw a completely different movie from what the critics saw.

Yeah, Inside Out is my favorite Pixar filmI’m sorry but that doesn’t belong in the “examples of getting worse” pile.
I'm wondering if you're aware of people can have different opinions. I liked Incredibles 2 better than the first one.I've seen both Incredibles 2 and TS4. That's awesome to hear!According to Joe Serebii himself, whenever you beat a gym leader in Sword and Shield there’s a little animation of you and your Pokémon celebrating.
That’s freakin’ wholesome

I never said people can't have different opinions. People can say Sticker Star was better than TTYD. Their opinion isn't wrong, but that doesn't mean a majority of people will agree with them.I'm wondering if you're aware of people can have different opinions. Ehh... Guess it's just me then. Maybe it's because I'm comparing it too much to Toy Story 2. After all these years, that movie is still one of Pixar's best films.Honestly Toy Story 4 is the only one of the non-Cars 3 (since 2 was a mess) Pixar sequels that live up to the original.
Finding Dory, Incredibles 2, and Monsters University were such notable steps down from what came before them, and often times went against what made the originals so good. Definitely excited for Onward. Hoping it'll be more like Inside Out and Coco than, say, The Good Dinosaur.
Yeah, but Disney isn't interested in innovating, they're interested in continuing the growth of their near-monopoly of the entertainment industry. One would almost think that with guaranteed money-makers like the MCU and Star Wars in their pockets, and a rich history in the medium, Disney would be one of the few animation studios in a position to take risks, no?
Luckily, Disney has never had the best luck in the video game industry, so at least my fears of them acquiring Nintendo and ruining everything I hold dear to my heart won't come true in the foreseeable future.Yeah, but Disney isn't interested in innovating, they're interested in continuing the growth of their near-monopoly of the entertainment industry.

The more things change, the more they stay the same...A few years ago we had Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Wreck it Ralph, Frozen, great Disney movies back to back! Now we have a buncha remakes of varying quality (usually bad)
Reminds me of when there was Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King, great Disney movies back to back! Which lead to a buncha sequels of varying quality (usually bad)
It goes is cycles
Don’t you think it’s strange? The more things change, the more they stay the same...
If not a sequel, then a live-action remake. All four of those films you listed already have one.Reminds me of when there was Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King, great Disney movies back to back! Which lead to a buncha sequels of varying quality (usually bad)
They took Lion King and literally sucked its soul dry, and got away with it. I don't see how Lilo and Stitch turns out any different.I’m just sayin if they screw up the lilo and stitch remake it’s on sight
Y’aint gonna mess wit my childhood
fans: "hey nintendo can we get a paper mario style"Oh no was browsing the thread and just realised that there was a Paper Mario discussion last night and I missed it dammnit
Might as well use this opportunity to spread the good word that a Paper Mario style for Mario Maker would be ****ing sick but ain't ever happening and I can kind of see why to be fair
SMB2 theme is happening and nobody can convince me otherwise.fans: "hey nintendo can we get a paper mario style"

still find it interesting that preview copy guidelines are saying 'you can only show the playable characters mario, luigi, toadette, and toad', presumably indicating that peach is playable in some way (maybe for completing story mode)SMB2 theme is happening and nobody can convince me otherwise.
They made a whole new section for themes with different mechanics, and there is one mainline Super Mario Bros. game that is known for having different mechanics. The “Other themes” section was actually made SMB2.
that would actually be sick thoughfans: "hey nintendo can we get a paper mario style"

Given this today's age I guarantee the live-action Hunchback won't be as dark as the animated film. Mark my words.I do not trust the Lilo and Stitch remake in the slightest. Almost all live action remakes of cartoons absolutely suck in one way or another, and it's not just a Disney thing either. Look at all the anime adaptations, look at how massacred Avatar: TLA, look at Jem and the Holograms, The Smurfs, Alvin and the Chipmunks, the Flintsones, Bayformers, Teenage Michael Ninja Turtles, etc. All suck in one way or another.

Just as what they did to poor Genie...They’re gonna make my blue boi look disgusting
Don’t forget Jumba and Pleakley, I bet their designs are gonna give every kid nightmares for the week after they see that film. They’re gonna make my blue boi look disgusting
I ****ing love it.
Rising from the grave once more to tell staindgrey that this shirt is for sale on my usual t-shirt store.
It doesn't have Jill on it, but it's still Resident Evil, so I figured you'd wanna at least see it.
I think that's all but guaranteed. Heck, I'm still surprised they were able to get this song in the animated version.Given this today's age I guarantee the live-action Hunchback won't be as dark as the animated film. Mark my words.
And Gantu, and the council, and-Don’t forget Jumba and Pleakley, I bet their designs are gonna give every kid nightmares for the week after they see that film.
More the reason I despise these soulless and lifeless live-action Disney remakes. They don't have the spirit as the animated films did plus what's even the point in them given they're just repeating the same story?I think that's all but guaranteed. Heck, I'm still surprised they were able to get this song in the animated version.
