This somehow manages to have even less of a reason to exist than every other live action disney remake. These news almost brought my depression back.
Good lord, don’t let Frozen 2 be a commercial failure.
I don’t want to see a boring live action remake of my favourite Disney movie while new animated movies slowly dissappear from the Western film industry.
Instead of making a sequel to Enchanted (a live action Disney movie I enjoyed) or Rogger Rabbit... they are going to mess with my favourite animated Disney movie. This somehow manages to have even less of a reason to exist than every other live action disney remake.
Can't wait til Disney remake The Muppets but Kermit's a CG frogThese news almost brought my depression back.

Live action Aladdin gave Jasmine and Aladaddin clothes that make sense. What's the excuse of the others? This somehow manages to have even less of a reason to exist than every other live action disney remake.
Good morning, my friend! For you, the day Aaron graced your forums was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

rich moore left disney for sony animation this april so i'm sort of expecting disney to return to a downwards trend now he's outIs it just me, or is Disney Animation Studios slowly getting better and Pixar slowly getting worse?
Growing up, Disney Animation had a lot of "good but not great" movies. There was Home on the Range, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons, Bolt - all good movies, but not exactly memorable either. Pixar was where it was at. Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, Up - those are the movies I enjoyed the most.
Now I feel like the tables have turned. In this decade, Disney Animation has made Tangled, Frozen, Zootopia, and Moana. Pixar? Cars 2, Monsters University, Inside Out, and The Good Dinosaur. Even more recent films like The Incredibles 2 and Toy Story 4 feel sub-par.
I'm not contributing all of their success to Rich Moore, but if they do end up on a downward slope in the next decade, that means both Disney Animation and Pixar are gonna be pumping out forgettable films that are nothing new and nothing special. Illumination will have Despicable Me 7 and Minions 4 by 2027, Dreamworks will continue to scramble around like it's been doing in the past five years, and Sony will pray that it's lucky enough to have one decent movie like Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.rich moore left disney for sony animation this april so i'm sort of expecting disney to return to a downwards trend now he's out

I’m sorry but that doesn’t belong in the “examples of getting worse” pile.Inside Out

Don't forget the Super Mario Bros movie :^) ... it's gonna be ... s-superI'm not contributing all of their success to Rich Moore, but if they do end up on a downward slope in the next decade, that means both Disney Animation and Pixar are gonna be pumping out forgettable films that are nothing new and nothing special. Maybe animation really is dying.
IT'S MONDAY ASSHOLEFor you, the day Aaron graced your forums was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.
Good morning, folks.
You really gonna forget Coco huhIs it just me, or is Disney Animation Studios slowly getting better and Pixar slowly getting worse?

Therapist: Monday isn't real. Monday can't hurt you.IT'S MONDAY *******
I think it does. The concept was good, but the plot of the movie was poorly executed. A majority of the film is fluffed with scenes depicting what the writers envision the mind to be like. No character development takes place in those scenes, and nothing extremely important to the plot is there either. You could probably cut out almost 30 minutes of those scenes from the movie without losing anything meaningful. Compare that to The Incredibles and Finding Nemo, movies where characters are constantly changing and the scenes are so juicy to the plot that you can't afford to walk away for more than 5 minutes without missing something important.I’m sorry but that doesn’t belong in the “examples of getting worse” pile.
At the very least, Illumination has a good track record with making a profit. Hopefully this encourages Nintendo to experiment with more of their properties.Don't forget the Super Mario Bros movie :^) ... it's gonna be ... s-super
Miyamoto, who's supervising the project, supposedly loves Rabbids, i.e. the proto-Minions.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Didn't forget. I just didn't feel like listing them all.You really gonna forget Coco huh
Dread it, run from it, perfection arrivesSobble is winning me over and I don't like it
It's already been filmed right? They did the Grand finale in the actual notre damme a few weeks backWatch The Hunchback of Notre Dame get a live action remake too while we're at it.
Apparently it has one coming? Literally anything can be live action nowadays.
IT'S MONDAY *******
I can't believe the Shutter Island twist.

Agree on Finding Nemo - it's a beautiful film, but I never found the story or characters that engagingNgl
I find cars and finding Nemo overrated.
Nemo was good and fun but nothing crazy. Cars was just cars. It was enjoyable but I also never really cared for the franchise.
Up is a masterpiece. Coco was fantastic. I haven’t watched either but,
Incredible 2 and story four are being incredibly well received, so I really don’t think you can say either are poor quality compared to Disney animations lately. Which those have been good. It Pixar really isn’t putting out low quality content
I've seen both Incredibles 2 and TS4. Incredibles 2 isn't even comparable to the first one, and TS4, regardless of whether or not you think it's good, is easily the worst of the four films.Ngl
