For the last DLC reveal, Smashboards should pull an Everyone is Here and bring back all users who ever posted on Ultimate Social promptly crashing the site

Is it bad that my mind is immediately jumping to users that got banned for good reason instead of people I like, despite there being a numerous amount of people I miss?

Odd, Checked twitter and multiple people are saying it’s down, Asked Ramen snd he said it’s not working for him either.

It was working mighty fine for me at first and wasn't even aware of it being down for others till you brought it up.

So out of curiosity, I logged out then back in, and sure enough, DEAD!

From what I can gather, it's a server outage affecting a ton of sites, Discord included

Hearing the Persona 20th Anniversary concert’s music while considering the “Crash can’t get in Smash because of Banjo” as the same thing as the “DQ can’t get in because of Fire Emblem/Final Fantasy” shennanigan that annoyed me for years.

Not exactly. People aren't just arguing against a character because of veterans who resemble them.

A Fighter Pass character having the same genre and era of importance/popularity with a base game character isn't that big of a deal, but you'd ideally want all DLC characters to appeal different audiences.

I'm not saying Crash and have the same fanbases (though, considering how many people jumped from latter's support to former's, they at least somehow overlap) or we can't get anymore 90s platformer mascots but I don't think saying bear and bird affected Crash's chances negatively is just a superficial argument.

Now that is a more fair argument I can understand.

While it is true and fine for some people to want a balance on the Fighter Pass, I honestly don’t mind it if it isn’t the case. As long as I have fun or enjoy the choice I don’t really worry about that.

But yeah, that’s a fair thing to want as long as you let other people support their characters (which thankfully it is your case Osby).
