It was enough during the pre-Joker days. But Persona 5 was undoubtably a much larger talking point than Dragon Quest and Banjo-Kazooie will ever be.

Let's hope we get another code leak when the update drops.

Let's be real, the fact that we didn't know of Character 3 until Sakurai outright said he was working on Character 3 alongside how they prevented Cloud, Corrin and Bayonetta leaking the same way Roy and Ryu did should be proof that they won't let another codename slip

Being I want some silly costumes like Simon's Captain N design? I'd love it. I think all kinds of references are cool. If it weren't for Zelda literally needing a dress to function(which explains why she's ALTTP/ALBW design), I'd like her adventurer designs from the TV show and BOTW as alts. So it's a pretty justified. Thankfully mods exist.

True, that's the power of reverse psychology--I couldn't imagine a codename being that obvious, and thought of other possibilities. Smash, despite its secretive nature, has a really bad problem with keeping secrets. Accidentally releasing Castlevania's song the day beforehand, unsuccessfully blurring Spirits mode, putting "Hey, Dragon Quest is the next character" in the game code.

Move over Vergeben, Nintendo's the greatest leaker of them all.

Even going back they've been pretty bad at it, there was that Ganondorf slip up with Smash 4, and even worse was the Ness, Puff, Lucario and no Mewtwo sticker video they released before Brawl came out.

I’m sure you all know that every Pokémon won’t be transferrable to Sword and Shield. X and Y had a lot of Pokémon in it’s regional dex, but not all of them. ORAS filled in those gaps with things like the dex-nav and having all the legendaries available during post game. So what if the next game (say for example, gen 4 remakes) had the remaining Pokémon left out of Galar available, meaning you can transfer every Pokémon to gen 8 between Sword and Shield and the games after?

I dunno, it’s just a theory.

100% completing Tooie--brave soul. I am absolutely certain I have not 100% completed Tooie. Went on the Xbox app to see what achievements I did get (since my Xbox/N64 games were stolen, can't see in-game)--Kazooie had you collect all notes to get an achievement, whereas in Tooie they were like "eh, just collect one." They know the backtracking is torturous.

Oddly enough, between the two games, the only achievement I did not get was Bottle's puzzles because I had no clue that existed until this year.

Wait, why does Zelda need her dress to function?

Her dress is fully part of her animations. She's been designed around it since the start. She was never designed to have a more casual non-dress outfit. It's not nearly as key in the same way Peach's is, but it's still a vast part of her character.

Just to clarify, while animations don't sound like a key thing for a character needing them to function, it would take a lot more time to redo every animation without a dress than quickly porting some of the assets over. Though it's possible I'm wrong on this, but he might view the dress as as integral part of her character. She's presented as a princess mage as is by design, so that could be a factor too. I feel like his comment on BOTW Zelda(not suited for fighting) is probably a mistranslation of the point being made. Though for all we know, he doesn't think she's fight the same way as the other Zeldas, as he doesn't want to change her moveset, which is very similar to the message given.

Not saying the other costumes would be bad at all, of course. I do think her staying a princess mage is the best way to do it, without heavily changing her playstyle up. I don't think she needs the dress to pull this off, but I don't think the moveset needs more than buffs. Though honestly, I find the Phantom Knight kind of a meh move and I wouldn't mind if they replaced that with another kind of spell. There's tons of magic in Zelda. And she's a mage. She could do other stuff potentially. It's a neat move, that said.
