this whole situation i think perfectly summarizes my issue with hgv69 even beyond the question of whether or not she's credible (which i think she isn't)

another guy on discord put it best that tiffany isn't in this for the community, she just does this as a social media stunt to push her own agenda. at least people like natedrake or grubb are well-known community members that actually interact with people, meanwhile with hgv it feels like we're just a proverbial meal ticket for her to sell her you-know-whats

I still think its really nothing and were probably waiting until the last week of September or early October for FP7 coinciding with amiibo theory.

That's totally fine with me since I'll be preoccupied with work and Super Mario 3D All Stars, not to mention the PS5 showcase and a potential Monster Hunter Switch reveal this week.

Like, speculation is fun. I enjoy speculating and theorizing about what's coming next from Nintendo. I also have always been fascinated by the leaker scene and always liked theorizing about it and the stuff that goes on behind the scenes that leads to stuff getting leaked.

However, there are some instances when a rumor and/or source is just so blatantly fake and not worth your time, and in my opinion, I believe this is one of those times. Tiffany Treadmore is not an insider, nor does she have anything that even resembles anything trustworthy or legitimate, and the obsessive levels some are going to to try and cling to her words just shows some people are taking this thing way too seriously. I get some of y'all are bored and want news, but this whole business with Treadmore's nonsense is honestly starting show a desperation from some that is really not a healthy attitude.

There's a difference between showcasing your passion for Smash by partaking in activities like speculation and supporting your favorite characters, and being borderline obsessive by hyper-analyzing a blurred out image from an extremely unreliable source that has the high possibility of just being pornography.

It is just video game characters in a children's fighting game, not your life. If you got a DLC character correct, I don't think you will have achieved much. I'm not against speculation, it can be fun. I am just against when people dedicate too much of their lives to it.

I like to speculate, but not to the point where I argue which characters deserve to get in, or how my character is more likely than your character. I just like talking about the ones I want and why I think they might make it in. But taking it too far is definitely not a good thing. It's the reason I've hardly posted in any speculation threads apart from the character-specific ones. I doubt doing so will lead to any good.

Yeah. If I’m being honest I find smash speculation kind of silly now. Like, it’s just video game lol chill out. I only really came here regularly before cause I didn’t have any friends.
