There are other things that fly besides birds. Insects, Pterosaurs, Bats. So I think Flying still works as the name for the type.

Well, yeah, I wouldn't call it Bird. I'd have Flying and Wind separate overall.

Though I went with different route with my hack. Flying is taken out for Wind, but a lot of moves are put under "Beast", the replacement for Normal. So your general kicks and punches fall under Fighting instead. I'm not sure if every type works well otherwise(??? is being used as Fairy, since there's a lot of Fey in the hack too). Ground is the most awkward one in the hack, though, since Rock is the general Earth thing in context. But it's not like any tremor moves exist under Rock, nor "Earth" in context, so at least there's a unique niche to work with.

They may consider them "Legendary" unofficially, but it's gonna be hard to justify "OH NO ULTRA SPACE IS LEAKING!" in every game going forward.

Just introduce some group that's always tunneling into Ultra Space. Make it like, dungeons or something.

It's no secret that a lot of Mons are just gone from Gen 8, and a suspicious amount of those ones are tied to mechanics not in Gen 8, like seasons.

Internally the Ultra Beasts are considered Legendaries in the game's code along the lines of the Swords of Justice or Beasts, so I don't think they'll care much about holding the narrative with them. They'll probably just throw them into whatever new mode they cook up for the other legendaries and give little other explanation to them appearing other then 'hey, cool legendary popped up, go catch!'

Finished listening to the Persona 3 and then Persona 4 soundtracks...and the thing is idk why I even listened to them both. Between 3,4, and 5, I loved the variety they all brought to their music. Tho I do wish I could check out the P3 anime movies in English, but I don’t think those are a thing. Persona 4 anime I’ve already watched and enjoyed, Persona 5 R I will replay through abusively once again (dating Tae this time), and SMTV is something I would be honored to check out when it comes out....

Fun fact

Having a same sex lover was perfectly okay by the Catholic Church for a long-ass time, it was only later on that the Church decided "No it's bad" and it spiraled from there.


I think the Bible says sodomy is a sin but I'm unsure about the same-sex thing since, like I said, same sex used to be okay for a long, loooong time.

The latter. People in power who change and revise **** to try and persecute others are no better than the Romans who persecuted the people, who by the way, literally changed their faith to Christianity three centuries later. Read the Epistulae/Letters by Pliny sometime if you're interested. It shows how exactly they would interrogate Christians, because at the time that was still pretty much illegal until Constantine said "ay, it's not so bad guys".

And maybe it was because Rome ****ing fell but this time people actually listened, the last two or three dudes who tried to say what he said got ****ing axed on the spot, no joke.

So we had this hellish storm yesterday that tore down trees and ****, and I went outside this morning to grab the mail, and the mail was blown out of the box. It was all junk mail but I couldn't just let it be, so I spent my morning picking up envelopes in tall wet grass. I then proceeded to get vibe checked by a wolf spider under one of the envelopes.

Today is canceled.

Yup! Not really a canon redesign or anything, but Phisnom did say that the characters would be stylized.
