Yeah, I think it's mostly me messing up the neck. I think if I made it more centered, it would have looked a little less off. In general, I was trying to practice a lot of different stuff when drawing this, female characters, obviously. But also back turned poses, since I don't do those often. It's a lesson to learn for sure! Maybe I should have done Akuma first, lol.

And my other statement was more or less a general one. But I'll leave it at that I guess. Now I should probably either crash for the "night". Or force myself to fix my trash sleeping hours, we'll see.

While you can't always get everything right. For drawing, it's good trying mutliples ideas at once from time to time, or give yourself a challenge in general. After all, staying too much in your comfort may cause problems, so imo, you made a good call for this one.

Whatever happen next tho, hope it goes well!

Similarly to yesterday where I started the day off by going out of my comfort zone and drawing something new, my daily practice doodle of the day is me drawing multiple characters in the same frame. Dunno why I never did that before but hey, practice makes perfect, yes?

Not the prettiest thing in the world but again, I'm doing these daily doodles for practice anyway. As long as I'm improving it should be fine.

Nintendo Directs will continue to generate anger rather then hype until we get the big fat juicy direct most people feel like we should have gotten in February, or even September for some people.

I made a point of listening to all the music in Smash. I kept track of the songs I had listened to on a word doc. When I got to fire emblem (after Byleth released) I stopped being able to tell when one song ended and another began. Even now they all run together in my head and the only bits I remember are the snippets from the characters victory themes. That’s a problem I did not have with the rest of the franchises except maybe Mario. I was especially baffled because I was told how amazing three houses’s ost was. But ime, that’s not true at all.

And to just say my final piece on Byleth, I think it was a mistake. I think the character is generic as all hell, and so is the music and the stage. It’s all just generic “Game of Rings/Lord of the Thrones” fantasy stuff. I think they have a bland personality, a slow and clunky play style, and a dumb design (put your arms in your sleeves!). I think they bungled the reveal hard by saving it for last and including the line “what in the world are you waiting for” like Byleth was some sort of Banjo level fan request. And I think the game and the community would have been better off if they had done almost anyone else.

NateDrake said to expect a general (insiders seem to be betting on the 28th but idk), but of course he could be wrong given the apparent disconnect between insiders and Nintendo info, probably due to COVID.

and of course people could still be angry. Assuming the Mario remasters and stuff are true due to how many insiders etc. heard about them, I’m almost certain they were delayed from earlier this year.

Well let’s hope he knows what he’s talking about. He did discover El Dorado, Shambhala, Ubar, AND Libertalia. I think at the very least he can discover accurate Nintendo news.

Let me rephrase that. Ranting about Byleth as a response to every person who views Byleth in a positive light is unnecessary and fun for no one. If you’re talking about how people need to respect your opinions regarding Pokémon and other topics, you need to respect my opinions and others’ opinions too.

Small question I figured I should ask: What's everyone watching right now? Like.. youtube series, tv show, anime, whatever? What are you into right now, pretty much?

For me, I'm binging Wizard101 content lol, particularly from Blaze Lifehammer.(who is essentially the face of the Wizard101 community and may as well be an honorary KI employee, considering how often they work with him) More specifically, I'm watching his entire duo playthrough with his friend Blue because I'm poor and can't afford a membership just right now lol
