OK. Trying to do some reaserch into Fate/Stay Night because of it's possible future inclusion in Cross Tag Battle and... well... the internet is too confusing on this topic for me. Can somebody explain to me what the deal is? Why are half of the "important characters" listed on Wikipedia ordinary japanese highschool students and the other half weird medieval armored people? Is this like a Persona situation? Do the japanese highschool students even have moveset potential or would they just stick to the sword and sorcery type dudes?

I've taken a medication to sleep.

Normally It helps, but right now my main problem is that I am too sad about myself to get myself to peacefully sleep.

Really tempted to go down the house and eat something to try and relax, but at my grandfather's house I constantly end up sneesing a lot and getting colds because of an allergie I get here.

I think they look great, I just have one question:

How do you put your own textures and stuff in the game? I saw some stuff on YT mentioning Render96 but idk if that’s the full extent or not, seemed like it was just shaders/graphics stuff (which makes sense with the name).

Kinda late to the discussion but my hot take: Amy is fine as she is in the main games when she's written well. Yes, she can be immature and impulsive but she learns from her mistakes. Her crush on Sonic isn't just clingy fangirling, she genuinely loves him and wants to improve as a person because of that. When writers focus on her positive aspects like kindness and supportiveness, there's nothing wrong with her having some flaws in the form of occasional brattiness. It's not like she tries to hold back or force Sonic into anything or has no character outside of him.

IDW Sonic does an amazing job with her and gives her important roles without omitting what her character is about but I'm not a fan of how Boom! Amy feels like a different character just to appeal to people who don't like her.

Yeah there's nothing necessarily wrong with having flaws, but Amy in the Adventure/Heroes era is pretty obnoxious.

She's a far better friend than love interest in that era, and I wish those 3 games focused on her friend side more; just being a key part of the team. Look at how she interacted with Shadow as an example. It's not until the later games when the "MARRY SONIC" goal is diminished slightly in focus that she becomes likable. Yeah, it's still a part of her character, but she's not nearly as annoying now as she was in the early modern games. I don't really mind Forces Amy or Generations Amy, in all honesty.

Depends on how you make your build. If you're using the SM64 PC Builder and select the ex version, you can choose to use "external resources" and replace assets by using a zip folder in a way that's pretty similar to Minecraft resource packs. There are quite a few packs out there, my personal favorite being P3st's Pack.

As for Render96, it's a Discord server that is home to the Mario 64 SGI project, a project that aims to replace the game's assets with models that mimic the promotional renders used by Nintendo Power that were made by Silicon Graphics Inc. Right now they're working on adding Luigi to the game with his SM64 DS moveset and stats. There's also spin-off player models being made outside the mod like SGI Wario, eventually an SGI Yoshi, and an SGI Waluigi.

Shaders can be applied to the game by using ReShade.

Man, I read that post that implied Cyclops was better than Wolverine and I gave it that stare Anguirus did to Godzilla right before he roars at him. And if you saw that movie you know what I'm talking about, that pause of analysis, then Anguirus goes, "ya fat" and Godzilla just "no u".

Please get good rest. Drink water. Intake veggies and protein, ideally in chicken soup. And just relax and watch netflix or whatever streaming service you prefer.

I still wonder why there was a time I liked Amy, probably after Tails. I don't know if I didn't realize how obsessive she was at the time, even in Sonic X. One thing I did notice is the whole "She's blind as a mole" thing where she really seemed to need actual glasses when mistaking Shadow or Silver for Sonic. I haven't really paid much attention to her character development lately, but when I was watching a playthrough of Sonic Boom, the guy pointed out that she didn't feel like the old one with the whole infatuation with Sonic and only became a way to dump exposition or something? I dunno.

Oh yeah, totally. I never minded Amy in the games. I just really like the direction IDW took her.

To be honest, I can't really think of a Sonic game where I thought Amy was bad. Like...maaaaybe she was kind of eh in Heroes? But even then I didn't dislike how she was portrayed.

Speaking of Heroes Amy though, Team Rose's theme rocks in that game.

Returned to Perfect Dark Zero to try and finish Rare Replay.

Might have to try and get some assistance with the higher difficulty story mode to ensure I don't grind bots 24/7. Even then, I still have to grind bots.

But who would want to play this when plenty of better games exist?

Boom handles the Sonic and Amy relationship REALLY well.

Sonic can be insensitive, but he's not an aloof jerk around Amy. Amy still thinks about Sonic night and day, but doesn't get into obessive territory.

Their relationship is far healthier and more realistic in Boom compared to much of the time in the adventure game era, and I really appreciate that.

Aww, I am glad I was missed. I missed all of you too.

The reason why I decided to return here is because I found myself missing all of you after experience in a handful of Discord servers.

I feel like you have more expression in SmashBoards than Discord, because you get signatures, a larger profile, and some custom messages.

How are you feeling?
