From what little gameplay I've seen(considering buying it atm but money isn't on my card yet) it's a cool mix of old and new, but the new kinda overshadows the old and the highs while very high the lows are garbo. Also the OST slaps HARD.

Coming from a guy who's only played Super Paper Mario(and honestly I never even finished the tutorial because that game scared the crap out of me) it looks cool. Maybe not exactly my cup of tea but I can at least appreciate the effort in trying to bridge the gap between the old and new.

Quick little vent I need to get out
I'm kinda in a dilemma in terms of my youtube channel tbh.

I exclusively do card game stuff(usually just deck profiles, and I even made an effort to delete any videos I felt weren't fitting enough for my channel as of late)but as I've made it clear in the past I only am interested in the more obscure games. Ergo my videos tend to not get many views(which isn't the problem, even if it was I can't exactly fix a small community) but the one time I do a yugioh deck profile it gets easily 4, maybe 5x the views of my usual content by simply existing. Of course with my money being tight I can't exactly afford to spend thousands of dollars on cards that I don't even use save for one video, but on the other hand if I want to find even a tiny audience I basically have to empty my wallet to the yugioh gods and hope it works out. Without an audience I can't exactly do some of the projects I want to do(such as overviewing card game archetypes history in a manner similar to Rank10ygo's content) and while I'm not aiming for a huge audience I want to eventually have deck profile and the like be the side thing and have more focused card game related content. The way it is right now though? my wallet cries.

Hopefully things work out and you do end up getting transferred instead of being laid off. Do you have some kind of backup plan just in case?

Yeah, had to return earlier than planned.

The stuff with my family... It is getting worse to the point it has almost made me suicidal again.

Never in my life, could I have imagined family members putting textually in the mouth of other family members that they don't give a **** about me, anything I like or any kind of stuff I want to talk about in front of everyone and with all the people hearing It being fine with that.

I thought leaving the internet for a while would be the better choice... But as It turns out being in the internet was actually the best idea because nobody but my IRL friends wants me outside of it.

Well that’s unfortunately a problem with content creating in a sort of niche setting of YouTube.
There’s so many card games out there, but really the only big ones I still talked about in a broader sense is Magic the gathering, yugioh and I guess Pokémon is kinda of big but not as big as the former.

If it’s too expensive to create content of that matter that makes you more views and profit down the line; then I’d suggest experimenting. Try and do other things you like and see how those videos go. Then as you grow, you can still do more with cards, but your other content can help keep the channel afloat.

Well to me filing a niche is much more important than simply making content because it's popular. While I do often make content simply because it'll get me views I don't make videos specifically and only because of that: I usually make videos if and only if I actually enjoy making it.
I did try experimenting with ideas from time to time(such as gameplay videos, anime clips, etc) but none of those really stuck and they made my channel look really cluttered imo. Better to stick with what I'm best and most experienced with than branching out and having too diverse of a audience.

I feel like what they should do is simple- quit using CGI dogs. I’m not even sure if it would be easier to do it that way. There’s no way getting a trained dog for acting would be more expensive than completely animating it.
Movies were better when they used actual dogs. Of course, you can and should use CGI for some scenes, like the “That’s what I like about you” scene in Marmaduke. In my opinion, a dog movie doesn’t get better than Marmaduke. They know when and when not to use CGI, and they balance out the story’s comedy and actual story. It’s a good example of what dog movies should follow. Imo

Indeed.

I even fear to imagine how today would have went like if they fully knew I was bisexual.

Anyways, what matters is that right now I am talking with people who do find value on me.

Dude I hope you find a way out of your ****ty family situation. Shame you had to come back on those circumstances. You deserve better than that.

Does anyone else watch nature/pet videos when you dont feel well? Never fails to cheer me up and forget about all of todays problems, for me at least.

Well tonight. My dad and I are gonna be bringing my computer over to my place to set up and get internet connection. I'll be using my dad's laptop until then but otherwise be on my computer when I spend nights at my place to get used to it and adjust once I fully move in eventually.

Well a couple days my bike broke. I'd be upset but my old bike was a piece of garbage and I needed an excuse to replace it anyway, so I went to a local bike shop and got a new one.

The good news is that it rides much smoother then my old bike, and it's really lightweight so I had an easy time getting it up and down my apartment stairs. There's also a fairly steep hill on my way to work that used to give my old Walmart bike troubles, but my new one went up it pretty easily. Definitely a huge quality of life improvement.

The bad news is that this sudden expense put me behind my current savings goals for now. Welp, these things happen I suppose. That's why I put savings goals in place for myself to begin with.

May just go tomorrow to a house owned by my father's brother (saying It that way to not confuse him with anyone from my mother's family) to be a while on his swimming pool and relax from all the stuff going on these past days:

Not really.

Half of this monday was cool because I was with my IRL friends during the evening.

Everything else... Haven't felt this misserable and alone since February of last year.
My family just despises me on every level and being with them doesn't make me happy.

I should ride a bike again. I haven't ridden a bike in over a decade. Long overdue.

I did try scooters and rollers (if that's how you call them in English) when I was younger doh.

Its my main mode of transportation. I don't want to spend money on a car and bus schedules around here are really inconvenient to work with.

By rollers you mean roller skates, right?

Fun Fact: I have a pink, boomeramg shaped scar on my left knee. I tried putting on roller skates indoors, and didn't put on knee pads first. Fell knee first onto a metal rod sticking out of a cat kennel.

That was fun.

Many people from here constantly fight to keep It beautiful and we constantly succeed at that.

And I'm glad my photography makes you feel those feelings, as I want to feel proud about how my pictures tend to turn out.
Photography is a minor passion I have.
