Double Post, but screw it

In terms of businessman and not creators, I'm using this in reference to what Kamiya said about Inafune during the whole Mighty No. 9 thing.

But the thing that I noticed that that both of them did is that they bult up all their hype on empty promises that weren't delivered. Like, obviously they create stuff, that's their job, but they think businessmen first and creator second.

Or at least, that's how I interpret it.

To be fair from what I saw the major complaints where with the story and characters ruining the first game.

Which with the entire game with footage leaked by employees only fueled those reviews more as plenty of people have seen the game at this point.

Plus a game as big as that I’m sure thousands went to stores and got it a few days early. Because with the pandemic those smaller stores would definitely want the money making it easier then ever to obtain a copy.

Is that 10,000 people? No but I’d say at least a 1000 is probably accurate. Because people who buy early will rush through a story and beat it in like half the time usually so I could see that being the case here

I will say this.

There are valid complaints with TLOU2.

But (Certain Character) being rather muscular or the fact that it has LGBT characters isn't one on them. And I feel like that's helps cause a good chunk of the negative user scores.

Don't forget this is gamers we're talking about.

Sometimes I feel like I don't belong in America, not because I am black, but because I am a Gamer.

And some of the most toxic stuff I've ever seen.

Metacritic user scores are just ****. Critic scores are somewhat useful.

Unfortunately, reviewers are only allowed to play so much before they have to give out a review (embargos), which in some cases (such as TLOU2), it can cause a disconnect if all the big issues are in the later half of the game.

I will agree though, there needs to be some way to regulate user scores.

Just wanted to share some thoughts about my current point in my Awakening run. So far, I've been farring very well through the different story chapters and managed to get adjusted to how it works. I've gotten some good use out of Miriel and Ricken, along with Lon'qu & Gaius as a pair since they both make for a nice combination in dishing out damage. Next time, I'll start of the 4th Paralogue to recruit Anna in the party.

Just beat Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D! The easy mode and lack of motion controls makes it was more fun and less frustrating then the Wii version.

Now on to Kirby Tripple Deluxe.

I've pretty much stayed away from anything related to the Last of Us 2 because I don't want anything spoiled. But my copy comes tomorrow so I will just play the game and form my own opinion on it. A lot of games that are "divisive" when they come out I've ended up loving.

100% agree with Joe here. The Wild Area was lacking hard in execution, but Isle of Armor really fixed all of the issues I had with the Wild Area. If they elaborated on this further, and we had some more trainers and locations within it, then I'd be stoked for Gen 9.

Glad they brought her into it, but I kinda wish they added some other important characters with the DLC too. Leon, Hop (wouldn’t make sense but whatever), Mustard, maybe even some of the gym leaders.

We could see this expanded on in the tundra dlc potentially, as that has the whole new league with a lot more focus on the characters. So maybe we get to see them in raids as partners then too. We really could use more trainers because the AI is average tbh as is and a lot of the trainers don’t help in raids.

I agree, and I hope that’s what they do. The AI actually sucks. It’s always you doing most of the work with your lvl 100 legendary with all these random civilians and the pokémon they randomly found wandering the streets. Maybe they could’ve at least made some special AI that is stronger than others for it? Or maybe at least make it so your teammates level is somewhere close to your pokémon’s level. But no. It’s literally a bunch of average joes.
