Bruh I just found out that Night Daze has become a bugged move in SwoShi since launch and no attempts have been made to fix it at all. How the **** is that acceptable?
This is the same developer that couldn't be bothered to patch things in in past games, why would that change now?

Because a move outright not working is a pretty major oversight, especially as Zoroark's coming back soon. Also, correction, it's not that Game Freak couldn't be bothered, it's that TPC says "Who cares start development on the next game" and they're the bosses

It can still pop up in Metronome, which also needs some patching because I remember getting moves out of Metronome like Dark Void and Hyperspace Fury and the game going "Nuh uh you're not allowed to use it unless you're the specific legendary", to whicj at that point why add it to the Metronome wheel

I finally got to try a couple rounds of Ninjala (man, the servers aren’t doing too well.) I’m not really sure of how much depth this kind of game has, but it is day 1 and I haven’t experimented with many of the weapon options. Also, there’s the fact that the beta is FFA’s only and I’d probably mainly do team matches in this kind of game. Well, I can give it another shot once it releases.

Played like 3 matches of Third Strike a couple days ago. Managed to win all 3 matches, but after that I couldn't get any connections. Ryu's fun in that game. Mans just hits HARD.

When will the next Ninjala Beta test start?
I'm assuming it will be the same time as yesterday.

For those that care, a new Assassin's Creed game is supposed to drop a reveal today.

I can't believe I've never heard this before. THIS should be in Smash. Best Bowser Castle theme off the top of my head for sure.

Some behind the scenes of the upcoming MCU film Shang Chi & the Legend of the Ten Rings before the Covid-19 situation caused the film production to be halted:

There was a problem fetching the tweet

There are rumours circulating that the film will be a martial arts tournament just like Enter the Dragon and Bloodsport with a possibility that we could see minor characters from different MCU films (and tv shows) participating. I'm interested to see who will be Shang Chi's opponents if the rumours are true.

a perfect opportunity to insert Iron Fist into the movie side of the MCU (and of course Daredevil for Spider-Man...maybe the rest for that matter since he’s the only street hero in the movies atm)

They're gonna patch it probably. They patched Sucker Punch not working, and they patched Fairy Lock not working as well. Night Daze will probably be patched as well. It's not like they don't utilize patches like they did in the 3DS days.

Edit: It's also a visual glitch as well, the move works, the health bar just doesn't go down until the end of the turn.

It's like the glitch for hacking Z moves in moveslots, while it's good that they may patch it, it just feels sloppy that this is the third move this happened with

Bought the new Sakura Wars, waiting for it to arrive now. But between the Pokemon leaks and Animal Crossing I doubt I'm gonna get to play it for a bit. Gonna buy Persona 5 Royal and probably Trails of Mana in the future, too.

I think he said they had no plans for after the pass or something.
No plans, yes. Which COULD mean it’s subject to change. After all they did originally plan pass 1 to be the last one

it’s best to ASSUME it’s the last pass though. That way if there’s another you’ll be pleasantly suprised

Can someone explain to me why people like the GameCube controller doesn’t much? I don’t get it. It’s not bad, but it’s not amazing. Give me an Xbox One Controller any day.

I do hope they patch it out, but GF has been really weird when it comes to which moves to fix. Some moves have been buggy since Gen 5, which makes me wonder if the glitches were intentional.

Really? Only example I can think of is the Sky Drop and Gravity combo, which obviously couldn't be patched due to hardware limitations but got fixed in the next installment while the combo got banned

Ah, a friend of taste.

Really was thinking of getting Sakura Wars, especially having wanted to play the series for seven years. Now I think I'll just wait for a price drop to £30 or so ($37).

Unfortunately my craving for food is back so my money is going to go down quick.

Kind of odd that they tease it or revealed while an concept artist is making a piece. But it is still very nice. I have always loved all of the art for the games (and damn, they leave me so much in awe that I can only dream of being like them).

I learned that Melmetal learns the move Thunder Punch once it evolves in Sword/Shield.

The only problem with that it's not possible for Meltan to evolve in Sword/Shield and the only way it can is in Pokémon GO.

You think either expansions will address this?

Say, anyone want to take a look at some conceptual Smash boss battles I made? Got inspired by the old Boss Contest thread and decided to make my own work.
- "The Gigantic Pokémon itself, players will encounter this mysterious beast within the Tower Summit seen during the climax with Eternatus in Pokémon Sword and Shield."

Main Attacks:

Venoshock - Sprays toxic ooze near the player and across the stage. If caught by it, they’ll take continuous poison damage.

Cross Poison - Uses its long venomous claws for a X-shaped slash attack. Deals multiple hits of damage in addition to knockback.

Dragon Pulse - Blasts out a series of energy beams from its mouth. Easy to read on, but deal a large amount of damage if not you’re not careful.

Dragon Tail - Attacks with its long, dangly tail to strike at the player. Deals out high knockback.

Dynamax Cannon - Eternatus’ signature move, in which it unleashes a powerful beam at the center of the area. The player must carefully avoid it
due to the big size of it.

Music Track: “Battle! (Eternatus) ~ Phase 1

Fought by the following:
:ultpokemontrainer: (Follows the traditional last climax of the Pokémon games where the player character encounters and battles the titular legendary Pokémon.)

:ultmewtwo: (Legendary vs. Legendary.)

:ulthero: (Fits in with Generation 8’s theming around noble knights and brave warriors.)

:ultbowser:(Eternatus is responsible for the Dynamax phenomenon in Galar, which is causing Pokémon to grow to tremendous sizes. Something that relates to Bowser himself, who’s known to grow into gigantic sizes in various Mario games.)

- "Overtaken by the Devil Gene inherited within him, the battle takes place in the “Brimstone & Fire” stage from Tekken 7 which is located in a volcano area."

Main Attacks:

- "Devil Kazuya will usually attack with the signature fighting moves of his human side mixed with the malicious aggressiveness of his demonic side akin to how he plays in his home series. He’s also prone to soar down from the air to dive bomb onto the player. Another notable attack is bursting out a laser beam right from his third eye and targeting on where the player is."

Music Track: “Emotionless Passion” (Tekken 2)

Fought by the following:
:ultpit: (Angel vs. Devil)

:ultryu: (Both characters are inherited with a powerful essence that transforms them into their own “dark” forms.)

:ultcorrin: (Both characters are half-humans.)

- "This boss fight with the destroyer of history takes place within a mysterious void with giant cogs and time wormholes flowing in the background, the same area seen during the final battle in Sonic Generations."

Main Attacks:
- "The Time Eater attacks in a particularly tricky pattern due to its central ability to warp space-time to its will. It will launch a barrage of homing shots towards the player, create dimensional portals for unexpected strikes, and blast an energy laser straight across the area. Occasionally, the Time Eater will manipulate the fabric of reality to slow the player down."

Music Track: “Vs. Time Eater (Phase 1)” (Sonic Generations)

Fought by the following:
:ultsonic: (Good old rematch!)

:ultlucina: (Happens to be a time-traveler from a devastated future.)

:ultyounglink: (Also happens to be a time-traveler who's utilized the Ocarina of Time.)

I really want Kazuya playable, but I suppose Gannon and Giga-Bowser are bosses despite also being in :ultbowser:and:ultganondorf: final smashes. So this Devil Kazuya boss is fine, and really cool actually. These bosses are really nice! Imagine if every series with a playable character got it's own boss.......
