Crocodile cacophony, easy for me.

One of my favorite boss themes ever from potentially the greatest game I've ever played. DKC2 is a masterpiece and nothing short of that.

Outside of Sonic characters, Arle, Viewtiful Joe, and Arthur, my goal was to keep it limited to characters that are relatively realistically proportioned.

And then there’s me with my Sonic fighting game ideas only slightly giving a damn about character proportions with my roster.

idk, sometimes the music that characters come with can be as hype as the characters themselves

Not only the music.

The stages and Spirit battles can also get really cool.

Overall the Fighter Pass format is really awesome since even if you happen to dislike a specific character everything else they come with can easily be really awesome and be worth the 6€.

A Persona pack with music from the spin offs like Q, arena and Phantom strikers

A Pokemon pack with mystery dungeon tracks

A Sonic pack with adventure era character themes

A Megaman pack with Battle network, Legends and star force music. Etc, etc.

Imagine telling someone in 2012 that there's gonna be a game where Mega Man and Ridley can beat up Cloud Strife and a song named "Soy Sauce for Geese" plays in the background. You love to hear it.

I mean, I already know about Geese's theme, but out of context it sounds weird as hell.

Imagine telling Toby Fox, circa 2010, that Megalovania would be in Smash. A song that at that point was only in a fan game. I think it's the craziest part of Smash yet.

Imagine telling 15 years old me that Metroid would get two games on the 3DS and a home console which could become portable and Dragon Quest would finally become relevant in the West while getting in Smash with your favourite hero from the entire series playable. All while Marvel finally starts doing justice to the Fantastic Four and Godzilla finally gets new movies.


Let me tell you, my mind would have exploded.
