Easily Simon's. Kinda funny, tells a bit of a story, and in general is really cool, with all the monsters and castlevania stuff. Hero's is second for me though, since I really like the fight scene at the beginning.

Incineroar and Ken, easily. Made so much sense for them to be revealed together, and man, the trailer didn't disappoint. Super flashy, and was just a joy to watch. It definitely helps that Incineroar was one of my personal most wanteds, due to Litten being one of my all time fav Pokemon as well as my Sun and Moon starter.

Also honorable mention to the Inklings, aka the announcement of Ultimate itself (That's technically an animated newcomer trailer too), because dang it, it still gives me the chills to this day.

Ridley because his trailer felt like the conclusion to at least 2 decades of buildup. I didn't care about him at all beforehand and still got hyped.
Also Banjo because seeing my favorite video game characters for the first time in a decade made me cry like a *****.

Hero, if only for the tease of that new World of Light-related feature we'll probably know more of when Hero drops

And K. Rool's was pretty cool and had the best music

DQ noob, any reason he’s called Solo?

I get that Erdrich and Luminary are titles, Eight is the number in the series, but what is Solo’s story?

Solo and Sofia are the default names, they both have different names in the different adaptations.

The hamster's name is Munchie, and apparently, he is extremely important to the plot in some way.

Idk, I never played DQ8.

Its weird. It isn't a major element of the plot but it helps solve a few questions regarding the beginning of the game and a bit of the backstory for the protagonist.

Favorite trailer, probably a tie between the Belmonts and the Hero. The first one was epic and pretty much demonstrated the feeling of CV, the second one pretty much showcasing how versatile is the Hero as he can go toe to toe with Link.

Nothing will ever top the thrill of Ridley's trailer. It was obvious who the trailer was for, but after years of being told it'd never happen, even from Sakurai himself, the buildup to the reveal was unbearable. I feel like every supporter was saying, "I definitely know that was Ridley's tail that speared Mega Man, but I don't want my heart to be broken again."

The Hero and Banjo, the two most commonly leaked fighters, are both finally in.
We are now stepping directly into the unknown. We have NO CLUE who the last two fighters are. The only inkling of a hint we have is that Vergeben said he still thinks Minecraft content is coming, but for all we know it could be from a false source or it could just be Mii costumes.
We are now in whatever the **** land. Unless another leak happens, we're completely in the dark about who the next fighter is. We can guess, but we don't have anything to look at to prove those guesses besides interviews and company relationships with Nintendo, which could mean anything.
Also worth noting is a lot of the major "leaks" have been disproven, including the 4chan one saying Neku or Crono would be in, and the 5ch leak.

He was the moment Erdrick and Banjo happened.

It was fine to doubt him prior to those reveals especially since DLC is a different and smaller project, but looks like his source still has someone near the important figures.

Favorite trailer would go to the Inklings, then my second favorite would go to Hero because it's just well animated. K. Rool's is up there too.

My least favorite probably is Richter's portion of the Belmont's trailer. The CGI was fine, but man did that gameplay part feel so barren.
