It's already the card game version of Smash Bros, as far as I'm aware the entire point of the game is it crossovers with anime series.
Just look at their list of crossovers so far:

In total, Bushiroad has collaborated with at least 100 different individual animes. Jesus christ you thought Smash Bros was a legal nightmare just take a look at this!

Today, I got a message from the game’s developer saying that they wanted me to be a voice actor for the game. Holy ****, yes.

I'd prefer to have one for keeps (I ain't giving away my Zacian or Naganadel, GTS peeps!), but I'm perfectly happy with trading it back; it's the last one I need for my SwSh dex (aside from needing to evolve a Scorbunny someone traded me for a Decidueye I put in the GTS).

I'd like to register it in Home as well, but that should be quick. I have a lot of free time maybe too much.

There aren't many pre-evolution Pokemon that I would use, but Torracat is a special exception simply because Torracat is a ****ing cat and I love him.

I could honestly see a Super Smash Bros TCG working, assuming you can deal with all the legal problems and also hand it to a developer worth their salt(cough Bushiroad cough)

I love Gen 2 and abusing the cloning glitch, especially for cloning Rare Candies, because the level curve is terrible in that game.

I don't remember ever having problems with the levelling in Gen 2. Movesets could still be limited but that was the only issue I ever really encountered when building a team.

After the Direct I think I might start visiting a bit less for a while but still keep watching the Personal Projects Showcase. Feel like I've established a legacy thing here with that.

Okay! After putting in some thought into it, I decided to decline on purchasing another game for the time being (I'm gonna be revisiting some of the 3DS VC games that I've bought, and also revisit M&L: Dream Team after dropping it). Instead, I split the money in half and plan to commission a story to a writer I know of with one of the amounts.

Edit: Aaaaaand the writer that I've wanted to make a commission for isn't taking anymore right now.
