I thought Hop was super annoying and full of himself. Which is what made him such a great rival because all I wanted to do was kick his ass.

I think Marnie was pretty good TBH. She also has IMO one of the best fight themes in the game only just behind Bede, so there's that too.

It's because she's a girl (which already makes her qualified for the Top 10 in the internet's eyes) and because she's an aversion from what her appearance would lead you to believe. Also, she has a neat theme.

Though IMO yeah I wouldn't have her at #1.

In order to save my strongest characters for last in case all else fails, I went from my most volatile character to my most solid character, generally. Here’s how things stacked up, roughly:

• Peach (my weakest character), Brawler, ROB, Zelda, Ganondorf, Ridley, Palutena, Wolf, Captain Falcon, Fox, Terry, Olimar, Roy, Falco, Gunner/Sans, Wario, Ike, Byleth, Link, Lucas, Chrom, Mario, Bowser, Cloud, Bayonetta, and then my best: Ness.

Having my strategy lined up, it was time to fight Galeem and Dharkon.


Here was the boot order leading up to Galeem and Dharkon:

• 34th Out: R.O.B.
• 35th Out: Mii Brawler
• 36th Out: Peach
• 37th Out: Ganondorf
• 38th Out: Ridley
• 39th Out: Zelda
• 40th Out: Captain Falcon
• 41st Out: Olimar

...you expect me to list more characters? Well, not today… BECAUSE THE HEROES ARE VICTORIOUS!!! THE SPIRITS ARE FREED AND THE LAND OF SMASH HAS BEEN RESTORED!!!

Special shout out to Olimar, the final character eliminated: the plant man was a HUGE MVP, as he was able to take out Dharkon the easiest, by FAR. And, he got a ton of damage on Galeem as well. He made it way easier to clinch the victory, and I am forever indebted to him. After his tragic demise, Wolf was able to finish the job and avenge Olimar’s fall, and victory had been achieved!
