Weird question, but this is something I had in mind for my Paper Mario game, does wanna help me come up with creative slang for the Mario universe? Like in world slang that would make sense for Mario characters to use?

Like maybe “Thwomping” as the equivalent of pumping or banging like something high energy. Or you know how we have like a bunch of slang for money? I came up with some slang I came up with for Mario coins

-“Honey”
-“Block-stuffers”
-“One-liners”
-“Tokens”
-“200-pointers”
-“piece-a-life”

I’ve been thinking about this, and honestly the only thing I can think of is replacing ”hopping mad” with “stomping mad” because Mario stomps on enemies and stomping generally sounds like something someone angry would do. Even then I think that may be a bit too corny.

If you "pull a whomp" it's a jab at how you screwed yourself up and a play on falling flat on your face as a Whomp tends to do.

Today something really interesting has happened... Since It is strongly possible that I may get added to a Fire Emblem hack done for a popular YouTube animator from Spain.

If everything goes right, I would take the role of a cleric who is friends with a mage (who will be portrayed by Samus). The hack is still being worked on, but there has been good progress so far.


I also apologize for being quite absent these past days on the site: people at some Discord servers I'm in really want to talk with me about a lot of stuff and I've been seriously concerned about the current fire going on at the center of my island and the haze storm that has taken over my island.


But yeah, I mostly wanted to share these really cool news about the Fire Emblem hack. I hope I manage to make It into the hack, and I will 100% share the video of the animator trying It out so you all can see my part on the hack.

And read up on the haze storm over the Canary's. One of the main stories on BBC so I'm hoping **** doesn't mess you up. If it does we'll all fly over and we'll punch the fire.

I just watched 1917; I'm impressed at how they managed to make most of the movie look like one seamless cut. The characters were pretty forgettable (I'm pretty sure I won't remember the names of the main characters by tomorrow), but from a filming and tension-creating standpoint, it was fantastic.

Some stuff I had is Jaki is she appears shy at first when you meet her because of the initial shock of her accidentally bringing Mario up into the cloud area, but shows a lot more of her snarky and eager side.

I’m thinking growing up she always being pitied and seen as small and helpless even among other Lakitus and her own family, and wished to step up and prove herself useful, which is why she became a Cloud mechanic, but she sees Mario as a chance to prove how strong she and her mechanical enhancements to her Cloud are.
