Got a few more dialogues for side in my Paper Mario game, wanted to have some fun with Peach as well:

Shortly after Peach’s party meets her Karade (Duplighost) shows off her powers by turning herself into Peach:
: “Oh wow! That’s really spot on!”
: “Me next!
: “Come on Daisy, we all know the world isn’t capable of handling two of you.”
: “Hmph, you’re no fun.”
K: (chuckles) “Might as well.” (Turns into Daisy)
: “Yes! I always wanted a twin sister!”
: “OH NO! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! WE’RE ALL DOOMED!!!”
: “And you say I’m the crazy one.”

Shortly Karade (Duplighost) further demonstrates her powers by turning herself along with Peach invisible.
K: “You should stay invisible as long as you’re in contact with my cloak, so I hope you don’t mind making sure our movements say in synch.”
: “It shouldn’t be a problem, I’m just glad I don’t have to disrobe to be invisible again.”
K: “I beg your pardon?”
: “...it’s a long story.”

Annnnd since I am putting Daisy in a Paper Mario game, I’d feel remiss if I didn’t take the opportunity to make a few Chuggaaconroy references:

: “Chuggachuggachuggachugga. Chuggachuggachuggachugga. Chuggachuggachuggachugga. WOO WOO!”
: “Must you? I feel like I’m babysitting an eight year old.”
: “What? I like trains. I like the sound of them passing by. Something about the chugging sound they make gets my heart racing really hard. Makes me wanna yell real loud!”

I wanted to incorporate Whittles and I’m sorry if this ruins them for you, but of course this came to mind. Likely take place after staying the night in a Toad House in an area with these guys.

W: “Our people. Work hard. Take pride in early bed. And early rise.”
: “So would that make you guys morning-”
: “DAISY!!”
: “I was gonna say people.”

Okay. So, i want this guy to be from the same planet as the Ben 10 alien Jetray

Who's home planet is described as being completely covered in water with giant spiral rocks protruding out of the sea, and is is constantly visited by fog, rain and hurricanes, as well as the occasional monsoon or tsunami. The idea is that these penguin guys live on these rocky spires primarily, diving into the water to hunt, and that they have hydrokinetic abilities to lessen the severity of the currents in their immediate vicinity and to help fight predators.

Ok so if they share the same planet with the Jetray alien species, I think this penguin species can share some of his design language to show the shared continuity. Here are some random ideas I thought of.

One thing I think would be cool to incorporate in the penguin design is some sort of yellow crest on the head like Jetray has and like how the real life Crested Penguin has. Maybe have the crest connect to their beak much like how Jetray's horns connect to his mouth. The crest might also give the penguin species an grumpy but cute demeanor.

To go with the alien look and the amphibian nature of the Jetray's species, I think giving the penguin different types of eyes could be important. Maybe you could take some inspiration from amphibian type eyes. I think taking aspects of amphibians would really drive home the "alien aspect", perhapes giving them frog like skin would make them not "just a penguin".

While Jetray's species is red and yellow, I think blue and yellow would work well as the main color scheme for the penguins and be a good contrast with the Jetray specie.

Well, I’m going to try a new thing. To practice on my art, I’m going to start drawing characters I voice for fun.

First up we have Larry, from a small indie game called It’s Okay, Right? This is the first time I’ve ever voiced the protagonist in a game, so it was pretty interesting. One thing I like about the game is it’s visuals. It uses the same tactic Donkey Kong Country used for it’s visuals. Everything is rendered in 3D, but it’s pixelated.

Larry is a pretty simple character. He’s basically a blue cube that can turn into a toaster and shoot people with toast. Here’s my art for him.

He has a very simple design, so I figured I’d just get him out of the way first.

This friend I have, he recently joined this site. He's a very kind person, and the thought of losing him freaks me out. I fear that his depression is at a critical point, meaning anti-depressants are absolutely necessary. I'm freaking out right now... he's not sounding like himself and I'm worried for his health.

I've known him on discord for 2.5 years.

Thanks! The next character is still simple, but he has stuff such as actual proportions, so I think I’ll have fun with it. He’s also the role that made me realize there are people out there who are actually willing to pay for my voice over, so that made me happy. The developer is a really nice guy.

i mean, next month, $30 should be able to get ya a strong Shadoll Deck.

each structure has 9 extra deck cards, holy **** that’s alot.
Just 2 of em should give you a decent start.

I have all the Shaddolls I need outside of the Structure. I would only need it for either the reprints of non-Shaddolls or enough of the new Shaddolls.

I bought a lot of other stuff. I also am going to run a new Shad deck once April 1st hits. Maybe revive my MLP deck?

I wasn’t around when Shadolls were a thing, so gonna pick 3 of em up on launch day if I can. mainly interested in there playstyle.

Gonna need to pick up 2 more Super Poly beforehand thou, running 1 in Rank 4 toolbox as a tech choice(because Mudragon of the Swamp is a lvl 4 for some reason)

I was having trouble coming up with the feet, but I think I at least got something now.

To keep the penguin form, the feet need to be very stubby, almost no legs to be viable. Perhaps the feet themselves have a similar shape to Jetrays feet with two talons in the front and one that protrudes from the back.

It might also be visually interesting to give the feet a different color than the torso, maybe yellow, grey or black.

To keep the penguin form, the feet need to be very stubby, almost no legs to be viable. Perhaps the feet themselves have a similar shape to Jetrays feet with two talons in the front and one that protrudes from the back.

I like this direction. In the mean time I did a draft with salamander inspired legs, but I'm not super thrilled with how they look.

Yeah. Those legs really don’t work.

I can't color it because my colored pencils are back at my dorm. But the idea is that he has a mostly blue body with yellow accents and black spots.

The idea with the claws is that they retractable, so that when he needs to rocket through the water he can fold his flippers close to his body and steer with his head crest and tail, but if he needs to fight something he can whip em out and scratch.

It really does look like a first draft.

I think the first things to go will be the lightning bolts and the legs.
