I’ll believe it when I see it.
It was a cold winter's night of the brand new year of 2020. The thread was at a steady pace, with a reply or a meme being posted every so often. Wade would do what he usually does in times like these, and it's trying to be relevant, or irrelevant, if the situation called for it.

Mamboo was, of course, a part of the thread's current denizens at the time, when he mistakenly referred to a dog as a pug. With a deep sigh, Wade corrected Mamboo and said,
That’s a Pit Bull.
Suddenly, like a raging, nonspecific whirlwind, a dashing, fussy moderator appeared and yelled,
Pit Bull is a rapper. Not a dog. Idiot.
Wade's face matched that of a tomato, angered by this man's rude yet elegant entrance. Feeling tiny and weak, Wade responded,
No Pitbull’s the rapper. Pit bull is a type of dog. Difference is the number of words. Idiot.
The moderator then grabbed Wade and slammed him into the wall. An eerie silenced followed. The sheer dominance this nonspecific guy had over Wade was overpowering. Wade was silent. The man inched closer to Wade's ear and whispered,
No, Pit Bull is a Wrapper, Pitbull is the rapper, Pit-Bull is the Bull, and PitBull is the dog. It's basic grammar. Idiot.
Wade wa truly defeated. How could he a mere commoner, stand to face such power, and such confidence? Despite this, inside, Wade felt not anger or fear, but joy, as the moderator held his shirt collar tightly in his fist...

End of chapter one.

That's fair. I find just pairing him with Jade and/or Veronica (and Serena but she should pretty much be in every lineup) and spamming Ladies First works pretty well. No one really does what those three do as well as they do, so may as well just hand them extra turns, and you can always give that turn to Serena if you really need healing, so extra versatility is there too.

But again, this is reliant on who else you have in your lineup, if you're getting more mileage out of the Hero and Erik than you are out of Jade and Veronica, it probably isn't worth.
Tbh, Erik takes a lot of setup to use properly. Like, you have to get dual wielding, and then get dually deadly, and divide, and nastier knives, and the elemental knive strikes. And then it takes a couple of turns to use him properly in battle. But when it works, he becomes the best character in the game, hands down. But I can see why people don't use him over Jade as the damage dealers, because he is hard to use optimally.

As for Hero, just damage. He gets some pretty good spells. He's a better Mage than Rab tbh.

I've been catching up on the Ben 10 reboot, it has some quality to it, even if it's not what I come to Ben 10 for.

Also, it's not ending any time soon. It's even getting a spinoff about Kevin 11.

The reboot can exist along side the OC, I just really wish they would do something in the classic continuity for the older esablished fans. Comic books, a web show, video games, SOMETHING.

You know, I wonder when Bowser Jr. will ever not use a mech for a battle. Maybe if he's in Odyssey 2 and he's the boss of the Sunshine Kingdom, they have him utilise Shadow Mario spewing paint from the Magic Paintbrush in a 3D arena for a really cool battle. They could even get creative and have you chase him throughout the Island and he creates roadblocks you have to overcome, and at one point he throws you into one of the Secret levels he intelligently crafted to "put an end to you" and he plucks Cappy off of your head before doing so.

Sigh... It won't happen, though.

What's one thing that you love, that you are passionate about, but does not get nearly enough love from the mainstream.
The spectacular Spider-Man cartoon, only lasted for two seasons but has one of my favorite adaptations of spidey I’ve ever seen he’s the perfect mix of caring and smarmy. Also tombstone in that show is so good its the reason tombstone is one of my favorite supervillains. Wish that show got more love all the time.

Indie Pogo.

Wish this got a Switch release, would've been some good exposure (plus, it's been a long while since the last update).
That game's fun, but the final boss is annoying for several reasons.

1) I wanted him to be playable

2) It seems nearly impossible to KO him, given the range of his attacks, him being able to hit you from any angle, and his ability to fly.

It's kept me from ever actually finishing an arcade run of that game.

That'd be pretty cool to see. I’ve actually been thinking of some similar ideas for Bowser Jr. in my Paper Mario game as well as a dual battle alongside Kammy Koopa (maybe she could turn her broom into a giant paintbrush as well)

Running shypox and game over on hero's death definitely skews my perception. If Erik gets shypoxed the turn he has divide active it's like losing 2 turns instead of one. Still, for me Erik tends to hit for 3000 -ish every 3 turns versus Jade hitting for 700 -ish every turn, but potentially having 2 turns per round when run alongside Sylvando, so it still works out in her favor. And that's assuming all goes as planned, Erik is more susceptible to losing turns, getting hit with disruptive wave (for bosses that have it), or missing the status proc. That said, Ridgeraiser is amazing and it's really easy to swap Erik out without losing turns in 3D mode, so that's nice.

Hero is definitely great, I run him against regular monsters but being afraid of him getting oneshotted makes me not run him against bosses. Plus, I find 8th party member's utility to be really useful for most bosses, and I'm strapped for slots at that point.

True, but I am running in regular mode rn. If your crafty and can land it perfectly thiugh, it is beyond satisfying, which is why I love running him, because he's satisfying.

Also, Erik has the poison knives as well, which do wonders because sleeping spells flat out stop working later in the game. Combine thay with his earth abilities, and thats extra damage for each enemy turn. I guess you can say Sylv as well, but he gets nowhere near as much milage as Erik can, and he doesn't get Earth spells.

Tbh, the only one I have trouble putting on a team is Rab. Erik makes for a great opener, and Jade is a great closer, Hero and Veronica as excellent mages, Serena is necessary, party member 8 is a tank, and Sylv is a great support. Rab is... just there. He gets outclassed hard as a Healer by Serena, and gets outclassed hard as a Mage by both Veronica and Hero.

Here's one:
The Octane Boosts into Battle! (From Rocket League, my most wanted 3rd party rep.)
I could come up with a moveset using the Rumble Mode items.
Honestly though, if there was a fighter that was always on wheels, I think Mach Rider would be kinda cool as a retro pick.

The spaghetti is almost done.
Obligatory :ultluigi:: “I hope you made lotsa it.”

Yeah, there are a few points in the game where Rab's role compression is nice, being a healer that can still dish out decent damage and cast sap, but most of the time he's just redundant; he won't have enough free turns to not heal, Serena has better things to do with her non-healing turns than damage anyway, his damage will never be as good as others, and Veronica has all the same utility spells as him + more. I would argue that in act 1 he's just as good of a healer as Serena, so when you don't need the defensive utility he's great, but he falls off hard late and post game.

Iirc, wasn't his agilty and defense worse than Serena? Like, even in act one?

But yeah, I 100% agree. The moment you hit that one important scene in Act 2 is the moment he gets outclassed hard. Like, there's a quest you can do to increase his Magical Might and Mending up by 50, but even that's not enough to prevent him from getting outclassed, especially since Hero and Serena can learn Omniheal, and then Hero gets Kazap with Veronica getting Kaboomle, Kafrizzle, Kasizzle, and Magic Burst and Rab gets... Kacrackle.

I guess he gets Kamikazee too, which is hilarious to see him self destruct, but it doesn't even work sometimes.

I played roblox with a childhood friend today and I spent 800 robux just so I could floss on some dumb kid. Worth it tbh.
