I want to say he could be lying to build up suspense. But this man has never done that as far as I know.

I gotta say, just one Fighter is kind of.... meh. Like doing two makes it fine if they’re not super cool or exciting because hey you got two. But with only one... I don’t know. Just doesn’t feel right.

Plus like, when are they going to be able to announce the other 3? We’ve got the September direct, then the janurary or February one (I don’t think they’re gonna do Smash at the VGA’s twice in a row). At some point they’re going to have to reveal two.

To be clear. I don’t think we’ll get a breakdown for both fighters. Or that both will release today or even soon. (Actually of one was gonna drop today we’d probably have gotten an incoming update warning already). I think one will be fully broken down and the other will just be a Joker/Mewtwo style reveal. Maybe even a trailer but I wouldn’t bet on it. I’m still saying Banjo and Erdrick. Not because of leaks. Not because of promotions. Not because of anything but the fact that when I think like a game designer, weigh what I know of the communities interests as well as the interests of potential corporate overlords, that’s what makes the most sense.

Either way, after today, we’ll get our second data point so we’ll be better able to make predictions.

Playing devil's advocate:

1. Of course he wont spoil two fighters being revealed
2. If it's best to watch live and not spoil yourself, that could mean two fighters. If you just don't watch the direct and check the website, two fighters being revealed wont be as impactful as watching the direct and seeing it unfold.

I'm on the one-fighter train, though. Hopefully we get two

Ok guys, let’s say you could add an entirely new series to Smash along with a represented character. The following are what you can add:

1. A character
2. A stage
3. Twelve musical tracks
4. 8-12 Spirits
5. A trailer for the character
   Be as descriptive as you want. I’ll put mine up later this evening.

So I decided I will do this with the character on the far right of my signature, Edward Richtofen. I'll do this in my next post.
