Time to play a few matches before the direct.
Who do you guys main?

Haven't played as the entire roster yet, but I enjoy playing as Raiden so far. Zeus and Kat were fun when I tried them in training mode, but I haven't tried them against AI.

it's in the main rules rather than being in Special Smash

I haven't played a lot of Smash-like games, but it works pretty well in Jump Ultimate Stars, at least.

Unlikely. Especially since August is usually when we get evolutions if the final forms. We might see the middle but it feels early still.

they really should of told us all the characters right off the bat, hell even sakurai doesn't like people not knowing who the hell everyone is

I think it's a marketing tool to get people to watch directs. If we knew off the bat who's in, it's likely sales would have platoue'd after a month or two, with little change. By hyping character reveals more than the character itself, people would be more inclinied to purchuse the characters 1 at a time.


although if the dlc character is available today, say bye bye to nintendo's servers. Again.

Yeah, I'd like to see more games take a Smash-like approach but with health bars. It would be interesting I think if they're made focusing on it and help avoid a Smash clone perception. Don't mind traditional fighters either but something fresh would be nice.

I’ll try that one out then. I’m trying to design an improved version of All-Stars gameplay (which I like but others don’t do whatever). And I want it to still be unique and not a direct rip of smash’s gameplay.

With the Direct in about two hours, just a quick reminder; don't be a jerk, regardless of who gets revealed for Smash. If you see someone trolling, whether it's because a certain character got in the game or because a certain character didn't get in the game, report it.

I was a Ridley supporter during Smash 4, so I'm well aware of how people can get when it comes to characters being confirmed (or not confirmed) at events like this.

Yeah. I'm just not sure to what extent we should take him literally, because his predictions are probably a mix of actual knowledge, actual predictions, and maybe false info.

Dumb jokes aside, I’m happy that so far there really hasn’t been any leaks of the direct, and I really can’t wait. I also got my Micro SD Card yesterday and I highly recommend getting one (128 GB size) to anyone who needs more storage space on their Switch, I found one for around $20 on Amazon.
