If FP5 is who I think it is, I wouldn't be suprised. Arle Nadja from Puyo Puyo would be really unfitting for the Game Awards.

Vergeben claimed that the fifth fighters pass character isn't from Level 5 or Namco-Bandai - if those sources are reliable, then that's a lot of major characters confirmed to not be that fifth fighters pass character, and a lot of expectations that were just upended. (Namco-Bandai was a popular choice, considering that they're developing the game and only have one character in it in spite of that, and that was pointed out in Terry's presentation)

I mean, at this point it's just ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ pretty much impossible to guess. You could call this the "WHO WILL WIN AND BE #5!" of reveals at this point

Although, I wouldn't be too surprised with a same-month release; all the dlc picks have already been made, and the other 4 have been finished. Assuming each took around 2-3 months, total(and that none went over 2-3 months, otherwise this math is completely wrong lol) that leaves around 4-5 months for #5 to be made(starting from roughly July-ish)

Arle pops out of no where and uses Bayoen to destroy all of them revealing herself as FP5. When all seems calm, Eggman piloting a huge mech attacks the team with the trailer revealing him as the first 2nd fighter pass character.

if I had to pick a Pokemon character from Gen 8, a random insect pokemon? Starter Evos(either individual, such as , or style) or Box Legendaries would be the best options, "Fun"-wise
Just make it a Pokeball pokemon, honestly.
