Sora would be such a "eh" reveal for me.
I've played five games in the series and only enjoyed my time with one of them (Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix), plus I just really dislike Sora as a character.

Kingdom Hearts is my childhood RPG series. I adore that franchise. If Sora actually makes it, in, I'm gonna be so happy, everyone. So, so peckin' happy.

I hope namco eventually gets more fighters. They're the co-developer and the only legacy third party to only have one character.
But on the other hand.... Namco is out.... Every reasonable Capcom character is out..... Square and Microsoft are out...... so many other specific characters are out..... who the **** is left?

In my most personal of opinions Edelgard seems like a “start of the second dlc wave” sorta character. The kind who shows that first parties are gonna be in too.

But the Smash channel does have an unlisted video.
I really doubt they'll drop 5 in January, which will be the same month they release if prior amiibo release schedules are anything to go by.

My prediction for Fighter #5 is that it will be a left field pick that very few people have speculated about.
Think about it. While they have their fans, practically no one actually expected Joker or Terry, and no one talked about Hero either until Verg came around. Banjo was the only "popular" pick in the sense that lots of people were activelt predicting them. We can get so caught up on small handfuls of characters that we can forget just how big the gaming landscape is.
I don't think proccess of elimation will get us that far.
