I’ve been considering starting a project (not right now, but one of these days) and the main character is kind’ve a frantic, violent, gremlin-y kid.

Okay, but you know what we really need? A proper Pokémon and Kirby crossover.

It'd play like a Kirby game, but common Pokémon serve as the enemies. Unevolved ones would be the generic enemies, and fully evolved ones would be the midbosses. Inhaling a Pokémon gives you a Copy Ability based on the primary type of the Pokémon:
  • Grass-type: Leaf
  • Fire-type: Fire
  • Water-type: Water
  • Electric-type: Spark
  • Psychic-type: ESP
  • Ice-type: Ice
  • Fighting-type: Fighter
  • Flying-type: Wing
  • Rock-type: Stone
  • Ground-type: Animal
  • Steel-type: Metal
  • Poison-type: Poison
  • Bug-type: Beetle
  • Ghost-type: Ghost
New abilities would be created for Dark, Fairy, and Dragon. Normal-types don't give an ability. With any Copy Ability, Kirby would be able to use actual Pokémon moves. Type effectiveness would come into play, both when you're attacking and when you're defending.

The bosses would be Legendaries. Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Zygarde, etc.

For my friends birthday, I’m animating something for him. Most elaborate Birthday gift I’ve ever made. LOL Currently working on touching up the lighting so it looks nice and atmospheric. Animation itselfmis done, for this part anyways. The finished product will be about one minute long.

Would love some thoughts from Noipoi (not tagging ‘cause I know yourmonline) and AndreaAC AndreaAC . Any advice is greatly appreciated.

What if the reason Cramorant gets Pikachu sometimes from Dive is because it's going to be a running gag in the anime?

Like, that needs to happen.

All of a sudden cramorant flies in and takes Pikachu away.

Ash gets disqualified from the fight.

I'm curious as to why Verg has never commented on Namco.

He's incredibly quick to shoot down characters en masse, so I'm sure Gamefaqs must be hounding him over Tales of, Tekken, SC, etc

He did shoot down Tales of in a weird way. He said that fighter 5 has absolutely no relationship to Nippon Ichi software. Including crossovers with their characters, using Lloyd as an example.
