Nintendo’s accolades trailer didn’t help against the toxicity surrounding Sw/Sh, they screwed up with a number rating from GameXplain and reuploaded the trailer with a different group to replace them.

That's pretty much all I saw when I last went there, lol.

No one even pretends to be objective about the situation there; it's just a giant whirlwind of salt and venom thrown at GF and anyone who dares not think the same things they do. It's probably one of the most toxic echo chambers I've seen in a long time, and I've been in Smash speculation for years.

It's also filled with armchair game devs, lol.

Exactly, that’s my problem! I don’t care if they’re disappointed, they can feel whatever they want about the game. But they shut out anyone who dares not to be as mad as them, and fling vitriol (not criticism, genuine hatred and sometimes even death threats) at Gamefreak. Over a video game.

I will say if there’s one render I think they did better in 4 than in Ultimate, it’s Dr. Mario’s.

I think Doc looks a bit off model here in the face.

I think it's less "off-model" and more his pose doesn't fit the theme of other Ultimate render, which is to say in one word -dynamic-.

Like, this pose doesn't convey alot of motion what I'm saying, and thus it feel quit "boring", compared to the rest.

Still, "Thinking Dr.Mario" is still quit good to me.

Heh, I kindaaa see it, but not enough to bother me that much.

Note that I agree Smash 4 Doc render is better, but Ultimate render is alright to me, which is a bit of a shame considering how good the rest is.

My thoughts exactly. There's constructive criticism, and then there's just blind hatred and anger. Both sides of this Pokemon debate have reached levels of fandom anger I never really ever thought possible, which is why I pretty much just backed out of it completely. It was starting to affect me and my enjoyment of Pokemon pretty badly: At first I felt internet peer pressured into hating the game and wanting to see it tank, but then I saw how awful people were being about it and how honestly terrible that mindset is and stopped just blindly hating on it. I decided to give the game a chance, and y'know what? It's my favorite Pokemon gen now! It honestly saddens me to think I almost let internet rage influence me into not playing a game that I now know I love and am having tons of fun with.

I'm okay with people who are disappointed. I'm okay with people not wanting to buy it and hoping that by doing so, a message gets sent to fix the things they have issues with. What I don't find okay is how hostile some people are on what is, as you said, just a video game. There is a line, and a lot of people on both sides of the silly debates crossed it.

Unfortunately it’s true. I thought maybe they asked GameXplain for a number rating (some other people had that idea), unlike most of the toxic comment section, but then they changed it and reuploaded it.

It doesn’t change my mind about Sw/Sh, of course, but it still looks suspect.

I'm voicing this character which is Brazilian. He's like, this little kid, the one in my profile picture, so I have to do a Brazilian accent, and I also have to do this high pitched voice with him. Probably one of the toughest characters I've voiced. He's very fun, though.

I added some more details to my reigional tepig artwork. It was mostly adding shading and stuff.

Still not good by any means, but it's an improvement. I still don't like the shading in some areas, and the lines could certainly afford to be less shaky.

Type - Tech/Flying (or pure flying if I get too lazy to code the new type, which is a reasonable probability)

Ability: Decompression/Strong Wind (The blaze-style abilities, but for the tech or flying type. It only gets Strong Wind if I don't add the tech type)

Hidden Ability: Gale Wings (Gen VII version)

Pokedex entry 1: "When Tepig fly" is a common phrase in (reigion). This Pokemon was created when a scientist heard it one too many times.

Location: Given to by professor.

Evolution: Pignite at Lvl.16
