They have no RE content currently and thi is the first time spirits from new 3rd party franchises unrepped were dlc

Unless this is promotional material for whatever reason, I don't think our odds of getting a Resident Evil character are very high.

Regardless, I won't rule them out entirely.

I’m a big Phoenix supporter but I also really wanted a resident evil rep so this is conflicting

If a Resident Evil character be it Leon, Jill, Claire whoever were going to be added they'd be added with these Spirits. I say Resident Evil is dead. Game over, Sorry. I do actually feel sorry for Jones and Grey they were really cool and didn't deserve to be disconfirmed out of nowhere like this but at least they have some representation which is better than nothing.

Verge deconfirmed Dante. And honestly I just never saw Phoenix as a possible candidate for the fighters pass. There are even other Capcom characters higher up the priority list than him, let alone characters from other companies.

1. Verg never said anything about Dante either way
2. The person who actually deconfirmed Dante only said he wasn't fighter 5, so he's still possible for post pass

About as much as anything else that's not RE. Nothing to outright say those in particular will have a better chance. Just that there's less general competition for them. We'll see how it goes.

Yeah but you ain’t makin the game so you can’t say Capcom objectively has no one left just because you don’t see it happening. There’s a difference.
