There needs to be a balance. It shouldn’t be all subtle just as having it be all obvious is also bad. There needs to be a few obvious things to let the audience know it’s even happening.

Also, Dante is mostly alone. Why is he putting on a performance of arrogance or whatever if nobody can see what he’s doing.

He's the King of Hack n Slashing and what began that genre to begin with. Plus he easily fits into the "fun" factor so he also has that going for him.

Not gonna argue that. Regardless of how I feel about him as a character there is no way I could ever argue he doesn’t belong in Smash.

Not gonna argue that. Regardless of how I feel about him as a character there is no way I could ever argue he doesn’t belong in Smash.

I literally just said it gets shoved in your face in DMCV.

To cope with his issues, why show yourself at your most vulnerable when you can hide behind a mask like that with ease?

It's funny we're discussing storytelling in games since I'm playing through the Half-Life series again and I'm reminded of how well the first game conveys atmosphere and tension. The military shooting the scientists is still one of my favorite moments in video games ever, period.

**** like this makes me remember I have a PC now so I have no excuse for not playing Half Life anymore

The only problem I have with the game at all is the same problem that is consistent with all of Valve's games, collision is a little weird sometimes and makes certain segments frustrating. Otherwise it's a masterpiece and I definitely recommend it.

Not really as delays normally leads to movies being worst. TBH I have no more hope for this movie tbh as I expect they're probably just gonna copy Batman vs. Superman with an typical team up against a bigger foe and what makes it worst is of all directors they choose to get an hack known as Adam Wingard.

No what most probably might had expected was the movie being about their fight being more akin to Freddy vs. Jason or Alien vs. Predator. Which is what I'd want the movie to be about as we've seen this crossover team up many times before.
