I’m reminded of that episode of Billy and Mandy where Billy gets turned into chocolate and eats his body until he’s just a head.Wouldnt Kirby eat himself if he was really made of peanut butter?
Okay I had to look this up, and it isn't the same song, but some of it is supposedly in the song. The song you're referring to was previously banned for what it was involved in. The difference here is that 1, this isn't the same song and 2, the context is clearly different.Something something it's a song from Homestuck about pregnant children.

Sorry, No Mienshao, why no Mienshao? blah blah blah who cares anymoreAlright, my first impressions on Pokémon Sword.
1) Nobody buys Pokémon for the visuals, and to be completely honest I think this first few hours of gameplay has me ignoring the haters at this point. Yeah, the trees are lower quality than maybe what people wanted. I don’t care. I get to run around in an area that feels actually lived in.
2) Exp thing is nice, and in my humble opinion shows the removal of tedium that Pokémon has always had. Granted, I think it’s not asking a lot for it to be turned off for those who seek a challenge, but I think it’s a good addition. However, the only negative is that I’m at the first city and I feel overleveled.
3) The dude who complained about length of the game...I’m at 2-3 hours of gameplay and not even at the first gym. I’m enjoying exploring for now, and I would think half the gameplay is fighting, catching, and exploring the wild area. Why anybody would speed run Pokémon is beyond me.
Seems to me that the complaints were all spastic and not making an impact on the current gameplay experience I’m having. This, now in hindsight, screams of , “Play the game before freaking out”, which is exactly what I expected to happen with this. This game wasn’t going to fail.
I hope they expand on stuff, like I think it’s weird that characters mouths are moving but there’s no sound for example.
I think folks need to remember that this series is mainly directed at kids. Kids don’t care about a low quality tree, a shadow that cuts in awkwardly, or frames per second (which I haven’t noticed whatsoever in terms of frame drops). Kids want to have fun catching new monsters, or getting that one they like that isn’t as new.
I don’t know. I feel the complaints were over the top. But I also expected that this would happen, because that’s the way the internet is.
The graphics were never my issueAlright, my first impressions on Pokémon Sword.

The context of the song I dont care about, Just dont think it fits pokemonOkay I had to look this up, and it isn't the same song, but some of it is supposedly in the song. The song you're referring to was previously banned for what it was involved in. The difference here is that 1, this isn't the same song and 2, the context is clearly different.
And you can tell that I totally give a rat's ass about that, huh?a homestuck reference is still a reference
it is objectively terrible and your opinion has no influence on the decision
I hate this mindset, being directed towards kids should not be an excuse for lower quality. I just mean overall, not specifically towards your examples.I think folks need to remember that this series is mainly directed at kids.
plot twist:And you can tell that I totally give a rat's ass about that, huh?
Music is music.
I'd like them a whole lot more if they were actually voiced, tbh.Oh dang. The cutscene animations are great.
nah i dont care eitherI find it funny that I seem to be the only one who seriously still has no desire to pick up SwSd.
I’m having a bit of FOMO right now but I think I will only pick it up if I have spare vouchers before they expire. At least I have low expectations going in.I find it funny that I seem to be the only one who seriously still has no desire to pick up SwSd.
Either my burning hatred of being lied to.
Or the fact I kinda fell out of love with the series around gen 6.
Is keeping me going.
That would have been really cool.R.I.P of wanting a train Pokemon.

Do you have a PS4? Or a Xbox One?The same thing goes for Bethesda with Wolfenstein Youngblood. (but, as far as I know, only with the Switch version) Here's hoping they don't pull that garbage with Doom: Eternal - I buy physical games to save space on my system's storage, so having a box with a digital code defeats the purpose.
Because ACAB lolYou know what would have been nice. If in addition to all your confidants at the final boss cheering you on, you also got cheered on by some of the people who's hearts you changed.
Also, if they changed everyone's hearts all at once then why is the police force still so corrupt?
Tell me about it.I hate this mindset, being directed towards kids should not be an excuse for lower quality. I just mean overall, not specifically towards your examples.
I mean, I'm just gonna look at it from afar and go "Oh that's neat" at most and have chosen to spend my money elsewhere so...I find it funny that I seem to be the only one who seriously still has no desire to pick up SwSd.

naw you arent the only one, Im.the same but no one wants to hear it and I dont feel like announcing it anymore lolfind it funny that I seem to be the only one who seriously still has no desire to pick up SwSd.
Yeah, there’s a few Pokémon that ngl have some wasted potential. Like Surskit I wish kept the Water/Bug and water strider motif as well as gotten stronger instead of generic bug/flying moth with terrible stats.R.I.P of wanting a train Pokemon.

"Its non directly related to Homestuck, so its just bad."plot twist:
the rat's ass means a rat's ass to everything else, objectivelly.
I am just glad to know you enjoyed DQXI S!I mean, I'm just gonna look at it from afar and go "Oh that's neat" at most and have chosen to spend my money elsewhere so...
the fact you took the whole conversation seriously blows my mind"Its non directly related to Homestuck, so its just bad."
Yeah, you can keep your opinion, buddy. I have no issues with that.
dude stop no we're supposed to hate gen 5Messages? Morals? Who needs em.
Yup...That would have been really cool.
I mean, good for you, but like, if all that really matters are new maps and mons thenThat wasn’t really my point.
Based on most complaints, like frame rate, that’s not what people look for in Pokémon. I want to also point out after several battles, I haven’t experienced a frame drop at all, yet Twitter makes it seem like the game can hardly run, that Game Freak can’t make a game look good despite jagged edges and what not.
I frankly think the games look fine. It’s classic Pokémon gameplay with QOL tweaks. I mean, could they add the toggle in the future? Yes, and I think they should.
I realize I’m an old man at the age of 26, but the most important factor to me is that I’m having fun. Am I sad that I can’t port Greninja and Garchomp to this game, sure. But there’s so much more to this than bringing in my old Pokémon. It’s a new region to explore and experience. I haven a team of entirely new Pokémon to complete that Pokédex.
I just don’t think things are that bad for everyone to have the rage boner they’ve developed based on buzzwords from armchair developers in Twitter. At least, that’s what I’ve found. Internet people literally get people all incensed and then claim it’s going to affect the sales, and it doesn’t, because what people do, the nitpicks they get, like zooming in by 40% on a shadow that doesn’t appear perfectly, are things that the average consumer doesn’t notice, nor does it affect the overall experience of the game.
Maybe I’m just not getting it. But I have precious little time for me to waste it on being mad about pixels, when I can enjoy myself despite that.
Because ACAB lol
they didn’t change everyone’s hearts they just removed people’s blindness to the problems around them
I'm not planning on buying it any time soon.I find it funny that I seem to be the only one who seriously still has no desire to pick up SwSd.

************, sorry, but they ARENY REAL. You aint hurting nobody and nothingBut I can't do that because that feels like It would hurt them
I mean, from an evolutionary standpoint, evolving traits that make you cute and loveable over potentially strong and threatening would make you easy prey. That's lame. They really didn't do anything then all things considered. Just cause people can see the problems doesn't mean they'll actually change anything.
Unrelated. But why do so many cute and lovable Pokemon loose that when they evolve. It makes me want to not evolve my pokemon. But I can't do that because that feels like It would hurt them. And the animal lover in me can't allow that.
I'm sorry for being able to empathize with fictional characters.************, sorry, but they ARENY REAL. You aint hurting nobody and nothing
