Lmao that's actually hilarious. Can't wait for the memes.
And yeah, looks like Scorbunny Gang wins in the end with a potential OU 'mon.

It’s alright but it’s still wasted potential. Seems to be the theme for this gen so far.And in the end we got
Boneless Rhyperior
Like I like the design plenty but... it's literally just Rhyperior without the Protector and the horn.
Agree!Even a minecart would’ve been cool too!
This was pretty obvious even from the first trailer, it’s not exactly a grand revelation, although I’m happy that it gives people a reason to bring up the issue again, Game Freak deserves all the criticism they get (as long as it’s kept to just that of course). Just the fact that they change their excuse every time they’re pressed about Dexit tells you that there’s some **** they don’t want to own up to in public, whether it’s because they ****ed up during development or are cutting corners to save money, it’s pretty clear they’re just trying to cover things up, which has ironically only served to add fuel to the fire and highlighted just how lacking the games are in some areas.Welp.
Not even shortly after #ThankYouGamefreak was trending, now #GameFreakLied is trending
ROFL
Though to be honest.... yeah, they had it coming. They outright lied about making the Pokemon models from the ground up. Datamining has proven without a shadow of a doubt they're the exact same as the Sun and Moon models.
F in the chat.
My only question isThis was pretty obvious even from the first trailer, it’s not exactly a grand revelation, although I’m happy that it gives people a reason to bring up the issue again, Game Freak deserves all the criticism they get (as long as it’s kept to just that of course). Considering they actually made the future events not available in the code they knew. Guarantee the staff was all "Masuda san nani the ****" when he said thatMy only question is
Did they just assume people wouldn't datamine the game? You can't say "We made them from the ground up" and then expect people to just
Not check when the game's out.
I get what you mean, sure, TPC is still making millions off of this but now they feel a bit sad due to the pushback and every small victory seems to countHonestly, I'm just getting kinda a sick pleasure from this as warped as this is.
Schadenfreude if you will.
I absolutely adore Pokemon, but there's something so quaint about seeing a giant fall on its face. Oh don't get me wrong, the games are going to sell millions, but this won't be forgotten. This is going to be the biggest ****ing blemish the series has ever known.
Either unless or especially if something violent happens sometime during the week. With the fanbase in such a fever-high warfare, I can't stop thinking about the possibility of something like that passing through.Honestly, I'm just getting kinda a sick pleasure from this as warped as this is.

Hyper-realistic 'member berries

Hey, if anybody's reading this and are gonna stop by Nintendo NY or any game retailers this weekend, be sure to stay safe, okay?
Imagine the grapes looking at you and saying:Hyper-realistic 'member berries
I understand that, but I'm the kind of person who's high-strung on pretty much anything that goes on these days. Today, my mom went in for spinal surgery and I felt pretty tense from when she left until she came home, good as new. I suppose the chances of casualties breaking out are ultimately pretty slim.Like what passing? No one's wishing harm to the staff or anything.
I... What? What in the world?Would any of you guys eat this?
I wouldn't.
Don't you think this sort of information is better suited to a Smash related topic rather than a Pokemon thread?Oh yeah.
Some guy did the maths.
Assuming we don't get another scrunch like what happened with Banjo's release, the CSS has enough room for exactly 11 characters, which, actually 100% lines up with the "16 Slots" theory from World of Light, since we still have 11 unused World of Light slots left.

I mean, your mother getting surgery would almost always put you on high edge, almost everyone will agree that it's stressful ****I understand that, but I'm the kind of person who's high-strung on pretty much anything that goes on these days. Thanks, man, I feel a little better now. I just hope everybody can wind up winning in the end.
Took me a minute, made me check where I was.Don't you think this sort of information is better suited to a Smash related topic rather than a Pokemon thread?

I’m pretty sure there where some death threats thrown out there. Hell people sent ****ing joe Merrick or all people death threats because he wouldn’t cover the leaks. If joe of all people got them, you can bet Masuda and ohmori did to. It’s why I’m 80 percent sure why they really cancelled those launch events.Like what passing? No one's wishing harm to the staff or anything.
Nintendo listened to the backlash on Federation Force and announced Metroid Prime 4 far earlier than they otherwise would've so as to pacify the fanbase and therefore spare Samus Returns from more blowback about being a remake or being on the 3DS or whatever.Nintendo generally tries really hard to avoid bad PR on their games. Of course, all companies do this. But Nintendo prides itself on acting like their consumers' family. When a game has a controversy like Sword/Shield does, something is wrong at Nintendo.
In the last decade, the only flagship Nintendo titles I remember attracting anywhere near as much controversy are Other M and Fire Emblem Fates. It doesn't matter how well the games sell. This stuff poisons the brand and hurts morale of developers greatly (who are largely not at fault and forced to work with the timetables and resources they have). Nintendo absolutely 100% does not want people googling their games and seeing hashtags related to abuse and harassment. Any PR person can see how badly this whole thing has been handled.
I don't know if the National Dex is coming back, but I know they're going to make an honest effort to try again and they will develop future games learning from the mistakes they made adapting to HD. Masuda and co. have handled this horribly and a company as massive as Nintendo must realize that. I am sure a lot of backroom meetings are being held right now. They cannot have this stuff go on. It is complete brand poison.
Sakurai be like "people who stack echoes don't deserve rights"But yeah, stealing this from the guy on reddit:

Fighter 5 + 2 more character passes not only 'fixes' the CSS by putting Jigglypuff back on the top row, but also fills out the screen + co-relates to the WOL Slot Theory.
I mean, he's objectively right.Sakurai be like "people who stack echoes don't deserve rights"
I think they largely removed moves with properties that are difficult to program or accommodate for, like Return, Pursuit, and Hidden Power. Some of them are just ****ing bizarre though, like Karate Chop.Btw the biggest change that has me baffled in Pokemon is that they got rid of Return, literally the best move when it comes to the narrative. When I was young and had Platinum for the first time, I got the TM early on so naturally I gave it to my starter, as I went on through the game, Return would become better and better due to the closer bond throughout the main game. It's perfect, it's what Pokemon has always been about.
And they got rid of it for no goddamn reason
Finally the perfect square will return once again! But yeah, stealing this from the guy on reddit:

You mean this isn’t the Paper Mario thread?!Don't you think this sort of information is better suited to a Smash related topic rather than a Pokemon thread?
No fearNo fear
"I know that it's likely because someone hacked the game but what if the glitchy mess we saw of that SwoShi streamer was the reason they never sent out review copies?" One fear
That’s like next level denial right there. No fear
"Maybe the reason the animations look this bad are because Gamefreak intentionally leaked unfinished copies!"
Bruh what
It's the current most popular defense on reddit. That’s like next level denial right there.
Is it time to break out this old classic? It's the current most popular defense on reddit.
It went from:
"You can't judge the game because it's not out yet"
To
"Maybe this is an unfinished build." / "Maybe Gamefreak intentionally leaked an unfinished build." / "Maybe the person hacking somehow screwed up the animations/graphics."
Obviously, they should have use flex tape if they needed to finish this game at all cost. Because as we all know, flex tape can fix anything! Including broken promises and PR nightmares!Either way, these games were rushed and it almost hurts to look at. I want to make fun of the Wild Area footage and bad animations, but I just feel bad for the rank and file developers who had to somehow put this god damn game together with duct tape.
