Sure.Yeah, go ahead!
I want to hear the details of how bad it is, honestly. Can you tag me if you make a "how I felt about SS" post?
I mean he literally uploaded a video a few hours ago about it so...SauceSource for where Arlo said he's in support of protesting SWSD?
did you not see my above post lmaoI mean he literally uploaded a video a few hours ago about it so...
We get ice storms more often than we get snow...which is considerably much worse. You would hate to live where I am then.
It never snows here
I honestly don't even mind that the models are reused, it's Pokemon, it's not about the graphics.Really, everything that's being pointed out is what's been known since June, only now we have definitive proof of something that we were already 95% sure of already.
I understand that people are upset, but this point has been run into the ground, and I think a majority of people are just done with the SwSh discussions altogether, not that I blame them. Nothing about this speculation cycle has been fun, and it's virtually impossible to have a normal conversation on why you're excited for SwSh without someone having an almost instinctive need to interject and say, "Yeah, but did you know they decided to not do this? Pretty bad stuff, am I right?" Then you have virtually every flaw being shoved in your face and compiled into a convenient list just in case you have a bad memory and somehow forgot one of the various reasons why your $60 is better spent elsewhere.
I can't speak for everyone, but I just want to play SwSh firsthand so I can finally make my own opinions instead of having angry people online graciously decide what my own opinions should be.
Masuda abuses his power a bit too much.I honestly don't even mind that the models are reused, it's Pokemon, it's not about the graphics.
It's the fact that Masuda straight up lied.
Any other developer would be raked over the coals for lying like this, I don't see why Masuda gets a free pass aside from people being loyal to the Pokemon brand.
Sorry, but no.Not when we don't have all the facts. It also depends on how it's done. He is still a human being and should be treated with the same amount of respect we'd wish ourselves to be treated with.
If he lied, that is a shame, and hopefully he'll apologize and perhaps things will take a turn for the better. But he's also more than likely being bombarded, cussed out, and treated like garbage because of a video game of all things. Something as inconsequential as that is enough to get people's blood boiling enough that without context, you'd think people were arguing about political issue and not just giving criticism to a video game franchise.
I won't tell anyone how to feel. All I ask is maybe for some more empathy and compassion, as man have I seen very little of both on both sides of this stupid Pokemon debate.
Mostly first party characters.Ok let me do this again and hopefully nothing bad happens
so someone decided to render in the css making it the perfect rectangle again and this is what it looks like

and if it goes over this amount then it crashes
so here’s what I want to ask you somthing
what are your predictions to the empty 11 squares are?
No predictions, but rather who I would fill the 11 spots with if I had the power to do so:Ok let me do this again and hopefully nothing bad happens

That doesn't excuse ANY of the things I've seen thrown at the man.Sorry, but no.
If you're going to be the head of a massive project, it is 100% in your best interest to be truthful and transparent with the consumer.
Lying to them is ****ing abhorrent, and from a business perspective could be career suicide.
Respect is hard to gain and easy to lose. You don't lie to the faces of millions of fans, because you WILL get found out.
This whole ****ty **** with this ****ing stupid game wouldnt have happend if GF was more transparent which they have not beenNot when we don't have all the facts. It also depends on how it's done. There's not a whole lot you can do about those kind of people to begin with. That doesn't excuse ANY of the things I've seen thrown at the man.
People had the nerve to post crud at him while he was asking if people were safe after a hurricane. After sharing pictures of a friend wedding There is NEVER an excuse to treat someone like dirt, especially over such inconsequential things as entertainment.
I'd say nowhere on the internet can you find civil discussions, honestly. There's not a whole lot you can do about those kind of people to begin with.
Harsh reality is don't look on Twitter if you want civil discussions.
Smash discussion can be civil as long as people keep their expectations in check and dont take sides.I'd say nowhere on the internet can you find civil discussions, honestly.
It all devolves into pointless debates eventually. Heck, this is a Smash forum: We're basically the poster website for that kinda thing, lol.
If people were only making this about Masuda and the models/animations, this wouldn't be that big of a deal to me.I honestly don't even mind that the models are reused, it's Pokemon, it's not about the graphics.
It's the fact that Masuda straight up lied.
Any other developer would be raked over the coals for lying like this, I don't see why Masuda gets a free pass aside from people being loyal to the Pokemon brand.
I mean, take solace that the game is still gonna sell millions? If people were only making this about Masuda and the models/animations, this wouldn't be that big of a deal to me.
They're not.
In their own words, this is just the tip of the iceberg. They're using the GameFreakLied hashtag to bundle up every other complaint they have with SwSh. Of course the National Dex is biggest issue, because after five months there's still some people who can't even swallow that pill. Then there's everything else you've heard since June; bad graphics, curry, EXP share, Galarian Dex too small, Charizard, cutscenes, lag - the full cornucopia. Do any of these issues relate to Masuda? Aside from the Dex, no not really.
I know people are free to express their opinions, but boy, they're taking great pleasure in using every available opportunity to take shots at SwSh, regardless of how irrelevant or forced it is. Then you have those you take it a step further and basically imply that you're either "part of the problem" or an apologist if none of these issues were enough to stop you from buying SwSh and letting the games fail miserably.
The attitude from the Pokemon fanbase has been way too nasty and aggressive, especially toward those who are newer to the series. What Masuda did was wrong, but I'm equally ashamed to say I'm a Pokemon fan if this is what I can expect for the rest of Gen VIII.
But are they approved byI’m changing avatars each day, lmao.
That’s what happens when you have a week full of stuff that you like.
Same with me hahaI’m changing avatars each day, lmao.

How you gonna just try to control what everyone else is talking about thoNo, seriously, can we PLEASE move on from this, and talk about something else. this back and forth arguing is starting to drive me nuts.
edit: and that's a no. just great.
Um.... well, two thingsWtf, I found something cursed:
