They're admittedly weird choices...and I don't regret it.

If you're worried about how they would work in the game, it wouldn't be hard to get them to. Galarian Rapidash could use Psychic and grab things like an MLP unicorn, and Thievul could use its paws or mouth to grab (and considering it's a thief, I'd bet it is more prone to grabbing things anyways). And Eiscue just uses its wings.

Given the recreations and other circumstantial stuff it's safe to assume fake but it's technically not quite dead, though at this point I'm cool with moving on. Maybe it'll pop up again in the future but I'm not counting on it

As someone who counts the original Luigi's Mansion as one of her favorite games of all time, and who was very disappointed with Dark Moon, I recommend Luigi's Mansion 3 wholeheartedly. It's ****in' amazing, and way more of a worthy sequel to the original than Dark Moon ever was.

Theory time. There is enough black space on the character select screen for them to move the rows back to rows of 13. The reason they have it set up the way they do is to not have the bottom row be freakishly small comparative. Based on my calculations, that would mean the bottom row where the DLC characters are has 7 potential slots left. Enough for Character 5, a Bonus fighter, and a full second season of 5 characters.

Probably means absolutely nothing, they could always add another row and they aren't obligated to fill the screen. But it does make you think.
