I’ve heard from a few people that that game exists, but might not get shown off.

I wouldn’t count Banjo out until Tuesday.

Microsoft owns the IP and it would be a complete no brainer to have it on Xbox, Microsoft not releasing the game on their own console because they think it won't sell well is really silly. If they think it won't sell well then they wouldn't make it in the first place.

And to add to my own comment: wouldn't this also apply to Battletoads? A series more beloved on the Nintendo side?

It's clear: Either Banjo is in Smash or it's a huge bust for insiders. I am inclined to believe it is the former, but man who knows...could get ugly.

Honestly I think Banjo still has a solid shot in being included. The fact that he hasn't appeared at the XBOX conference doesn't mean much, imo.

Albeit it would be great to see a revival of the franchise. New Game or remake.
