I would laugh my ass off if they actually put Megalovania in as a joke because of how often Toby Fox used it in previous iterations.

It would be the best easter egg ever.

But the fact we got anything from Toby is more than enough for me.

If they’re super close then why would they be covering leaks at all? You’d think nintendo would hate them for that.

Nintendo tends to be pretty lenient nowadays about discussion channels.
You would have gotten a different answer around 10 years ago, but atm Nintendo doesn't really care.

The only thing I remember from Brawl speculation is "Japan Time" and nothing else
I was but a wee lad when Brawl was coming out so I didn't really give half a **** for speculation

There is supposed to be some maintenance for the Switch coming. What if it includes Smash, and stuff is announced or released for it later this week? I could be wrong, but it is just a thought.

Japan Time was great. Nobody had any clue what was on or off the table, so people got wild with who they thought was getting in, and the casual drops of some characters only strengthened the hysteria.

I've heard tales of the Brawl. The Battlefield was heated.

R.O.B. and Wolf were not initially recieved well and "sakurai bias" manifested within it. Mewtwo being cut brought hella angry pokéfans and the claims of "lol Lucario is just a clone/replacement Mewtwo" also had their starts then. Brawl was also the first game to have cuts from the previous installment's roster which, coupled with Mewtwo's absence, really didn't do it any favors.

That's all the big things I can remember from it.

For what’s its worth gamexplain is 50/50.

they think that what the leak is trying to imply seems really opportunistic given how big doom and geno are as smash wants. They also don’t believe that if it’s real it means one thing or another. They thought the Ken part was maybe the same guy but likely someone trying to replicate it.

lastly they questioned why if this is real and a future build there isn’t say the fatal fury stage or something else being tested. With them thinking that’s why it might be fake.

which honestly are all fair points. I’m slightly skeptical because of how much of a setup it seems to be, but it’s a pretty well made fake if not real.

KingofPhantoms Dang, I was so close. Metal Mario died pathetically. I forgot how Blood Falcon died. Fulgore lasted a while, and Psycho Red nearly won. Pretty good overall, imo~

As for the Mallow leak, it's possible somebody used the Gamebanana Mallow hat and modified it to use for an Ultimate mod. I still lean on it being real, mind you. There's not a lot of compelling evidence that makes it fake.
