Not the biggest DB fan myself but I still got FighterZ.

It's a really fun fighter.

Eh, it's less masculine nowadays. They aren't jacked, but they still got muscles.

View attachment 243509

This is from the most recent chapter of the series.

that's literally the author and his poster boy
Okay okay okay okay okay. I get your point. Thank you.

But I've seen too many shirtless male K-Pop stars that I just call that another day.

I take it KOS-MOS would be one of them?

I'm not trying to insist you on reading or watching it, that'd be gross.

But the muscles have been toned down. I was surprised with the last chapter too, it seems Araki upped the muscle game on Josuke. He used to be a lot skinnier, since that was his whole phase from Part 5 - now.

It really isn't pretty to see characters who used to be super jacked get redrawn and have sudden muscle atrophy

But don't mind me, I'm just fanboying.

Ok, so hear me out for a moment. Something just occurred to me.

We’re at a really strange point for Namco content. For Wii U, we had Heihachi and Lloyd costumes as DLC. We’ve seen neither costume yet, with one Fighter Pass spot remaining.

It can be assumed that getting revealed as a DLC Mii Costume counts as a disconfirmation. If the original project plan was to bring back content in waves, then depending on Pack 5 there could be a few implications:

1) Neither character is playable, and they both come back as Mii costumes with Terry or Pick 5. This appearance as a Mii Fighter disconfirms Lloyd Irving and Heihachi, as they were both costumes.

2) Neither character is playable, and they do not return as costumes. This would be rather interesting, given the size of both series (Tekken and Tales of). I must admit, I would be surprised most by this. It would imply they not only weren’t planned as DLC, but not even planned to return as Mii Costumes. Given who they are, that seems...odd.

3) One of Heihachi or Lloyd are playable, and the non-playable character would return as a Mii costume. This...actually seems like a plausible outcome.

Just thinking about it, it would be odd to not bring back both costumes, yet bringing them both back disconfirms them. However, there’s one “planned” DLC spot for the Fighter Pass, which was the original. The post-FP DLC is a different animal, but it only means something if Lloyd or Heihachi weren’t planned as costumes or playable...which would be weird to not plan them to return in any fashion from the beginning.

I hope I’m making sense here, but I could be wrong.

Tl;dr: I think it’s plausible Lloyd or Heihachi get directly confirmed as something in the Terry presentation or one of them is the final character. Both were Mii Fighter costumes in Wii U and are from popular series, therefore it would be quite odd for neither of them to appear in the base game and Costume waves as initially planned for Ultimate. This doesn’t mean they can’t come back later, but I feel it would just be...weird.

We’ll find out soon enough I guess...thoughts?

It's always fun to look back to see how artists have changed, but sometimes you're so used to a particular style that new ones don't do it for you.

Honestly Jotaro got one of the better redesigns but goddamn did Star Platinum suffer.

The big :bigthink: is what Mii costumes are we still missing.

Not all will return, but there are some outliers whose absence is very alerting.

But yeah

I'm not too big into either character, but if it does come down to Tales Of vs Robot Waifu, I'll be relishing that salt with a heap of mayo.

On one hand, you're gonna have "Anime sword!" "Japan bias!" "Too many rpgs" for Tales of

And for Kosmos, I can't even say here what people will say due to the risk of infractions.

Very fun times ahead if it comes down to these 2.
I still believe in our boys.

If we can get two JRPG characters back to back, why NOT two FG characters?

Swear to god

As much as I know the SNK trailer crushed certain fanbases dreams

I'd love more trailers like it that throw these massive curveballs.
Agree!
Here's my idea for a trailer of mine: (For the 5th DLC character as well a first party rep for the 2nd pass if there's one.)
*Cross flairs*
We see a Smash Bros. invitation floating in the air with lots of wanted, leaked and requested characters scrambling to get the said letter as it flutters to the ground as they fight over it, suddenly a car horn is heard as a blue blur (it's not Sonic, silly.) rushes across the screen sending all the characters flying away.
Cuts back to the letter as a car tire picks it up with a revving noise...
Octane.png

Octane
Rockets into Battle!

*Shows footage of it's move-set and Final Smash.*
Before Octane can drive off a squeaky noise is heard as a familiar bandanna-wearing Waddle Dee floats to the ground with it's spear and holds up a letter saying "Congratulates, you have been invited as the first rep for a 2nd pass, we hope to see you there. from Sakurai." This Waddle Dee is none other than..
Bandana Dee
Waddles in!
*
Yet again, move-set and Final Smash*
Both Octane and the Waddle Dee happily fist-bump each other with Bandana Dee holding on Octane as the two drives off into the distance, pans to the characters looking at them as they grumble in anger and disappointment. fades to black...
End of trailer.
Sorry about the double spoilers, i apologise.

The only thing I know about KOS MOS is that my friends say she "wouldnt work" due to one of her main attacks being "too lewd"

All I really know about her is she's a robot waifu lol
She could be lewd but in Project Z zone 2 outside of her super, shes fine look and action wise. Here's how she plays:

i'm banking on a Tekken character being revealed with Terry, the virtua fighter costumes coming back with him and some SNK costumes, and if the Tekken character ISN'T Heihachi, then his costume will come back.

Then when Heihachi launches some of the other Namco costumes like Lloyd and Gil will return.

tbh I'm kind of hoping we do end up getting Heihachi/some Tekken character over Lloyd as I find the thought of having three of the biggest FG franchises crossing over against each other to be awesome and if we end up getting some Blazblue/Guilty Gear or Mortal Kombat character in the post-FP DLC then I think this would end up being the biggest FG crossovers and that's awesome.

Lloyd would be cool too but I would like to see that happen first and foremost.

You people are forgetting the last Namco option, the Namco logo itself. It was interact-able with in Katamari, so it is eligible for Smash, and it is by far the most recurring Namco character of all time. It’s going to happen.

I still doubt Tekken because of the whole issue Sakurai has on implementing the game's 3d gameplay into Smash. It's more complicated than Ridley's size that's for sure.

Would definitely play as the logo, imagine how salty fans would be if it got in over over wanted characters...

PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale implemented it fairly well with Heihachi.

I guess there’s always the option to just omit those mechanics if PS All Stars is any indication but I doubt Sakurai would want to copy and paste his moves from that game.

We also still don't have the Geno, MMX, MM.EXE Mii costumes yet either. On top of the Llyod and Heihachi ones.

I wish Nightmare would be considered a lot more.
I mean....yeah. But you gotta understand Wade, I'm much closer to Tekken than I am SC.

Still, people called Terry hat Ken. ****** think a Mishima would play similarly to Ryu. So if it was Nightmare, people would just say he's another Fire Emblem character. Which yes, that feeling in your head after reading that was a stroke.

This is Sakurai we're talking about here. He was willing to cut Pac-Man if his Ghostly Adventures design was used.

Well, it's not like Hei would need to throw beach balls and trophies, or Summon Kuma. That said, most of his other moves are his actual moveset.

Or they could pick either Jin or Kazuya. Assuming there's no Echo Fighter shenanigans between them all(as in they are echoes of each other not pre-established fighters in the series). Which I kind of doubt would happen in the Fighter's Pass.
