Alright then.It still wasn't so successful, so your argument is invalid.
Seriously, though, based on what you said, it could work.

Sakurai can still focus on the differences between 2D and 3D fighters that aren't just 3D movement.I still doubt Tekken because of the whole issue Sakurai has on implementing the game's 3d gameplay into Smash. It's more complicated than Ridley's size that's for sure.
In total we're missing X, EXE, Jacky, Akira, Heihachi, Lloyd, Monster Hunter, Rathalos Hunter, Geno, Chocobo, and GilWe also still don't have the Geno, MMX, MM.EXE Mii costumes yet either. On top of the Llyod and Heihachi ones.
I mean....yeah. But you gotta understand Wade, I'm much closer to Tekken than I am SC.
Still, people called Terry hat Ken. ****** think a Mishima would play similarly to Ryu. So if it was Nightmare, people would just say he's another Fire Emblem character. Which yes, that feeling in your head after reading that was a stroke.
300 IQ plays, this is why we hired you back.
Looking through the list, we're missing Geno, Chocobo, Gil, Heihachi, Lloyd, Akira, Jacky, Mega Man X, Mega Man Exe., and Monster Hunter (both the Generic and Rathalos). The big :bigthink: is what Mii costumes are we still missing.
Not all will return, but there are some outliers whose absence is very alerting.
Hell, In Fatal Fury you can step into the foreground and background (lane shifting) and KoF is tag-teamed based. I doubt Terry will include any of that.Sakurai can still focus on the differences between 2D and 3D fighters that aren't just 3D movement.
MegaMan.EXE actually, we have Zero.Zero,
One way I wanted the Tekken characters to be implemented was with chain attacks and dail-a-combos. So while you have your AAA, maybe they also have AAB, ABA, ABB ect ect.Sakurai can still focus on the differences between 2D and 3D fighters that aren't just 3D movement.
Smh already throwing robowaifu under the bus.I’d be PSYCHED if we got Lloyd. I really enjoyed Tales of Symphonia when I played it.
Have to say though, a friend of mine made a good point. Harada is in close contact with the Smash team, as his dudes are partially working on Smash with Namco on the team.
It would be easy, and worth it, to get that Heihachi costume again. If it’s not there for Terry’s demo video, then it might mean something.
Really makes you think. If it had to come down to Heihachi and Lloyd, I feel like you have to add Heihachi. It’s freaking Heihachi.
Or it’s all nothing and Namco doesn’t get any DLC.
I was thinking he'd get something that works similarly to Marth's side-B, and attempting to use the short hop aerial macro would instead make him do a hopkick. He would ideally also have exclusive moves that overwrite the AB Smash input like Raijin Stance. One way I wanted the Tekken characters to be implemented was with chain attacks and dail-a-combos. So while you have your AAA, maybe they also have AAB, ABA, ABB ect ect.
Of course depeding on the move, they could also implement motions, like an SRK-ish motion for an EWGF. Otherwise, their spot dodge could be a side-step.
Yeah, @Lesley Black Velvet would be ticked off.Smh already throwing robowaifu under the bus.
For shame, Teach.
Nah, he's throwing her off the cliff! We gotta let Karate Grandpa throw hands.Smh already throwing robowaifu under the bus.
For shame, Teach.
Of bloody course I'll be ticked off.Yeah, @Lesley Black Velvet would be ticked off.
It be really weird to see 2 fighting game fighters on the pass and doesn't seem to likely imo.I’d be PSYCHED if we got Lloyd. I really enjoyed Tales of Symphonia when I played it.

Lego Ninjago DS.What's a garbage game from your childhood that you're a little nostalgic for?
I remember thinking that Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects was the **** back when I was a kid, although that's probably because I was easily impressed by anything containing my favorite superheroes.
I wouldn’t rule her out. I just don’t think they’d pick her over Tekken or Tales.Smh already throwing robowaifu under the bus.
For shame, Teach.
Why would 2 Fighting game characters be weird when we got Persona and Dragon Quest, two JRPG characters, back to back?It be really weird to see 2 fighting game fighters on the pass and doesn't seem to likely imo.
Sakurai treated Ryu pretty special back in 4 making a whole presentation to mostly just break him down( Roy was a vet and didn't need much explaining).
Terryis getting the same treatment, but this time Sakurai has done similar with the previous fighters. Still Sakurai seems to really like getting fighting game characters in, so I don't think he'd focus on more then one of them at a time with all the work he puts into replicating these characters completely as if they came and played straight out of their respective fighting games.
M&Ms Kart racing. What's a garbage game from your childhood that you're a little nostalgic for?

By doing so, it'll be great, though it'll tick off the female demographic.I wouldn’t rule her out. I just don’t think they’d pick her over Tekken or Tales.
It’s not about a “Namco pick”. It’s about where the character comes from and who they are. I am sure she’d be great, but we’re talking about the guy with the iconic hairdo from Tekken, and the Tales of protagonist most people recognize, and that popularized the series in the West.
I just see them as more likely.
I mean, so do I.I wouldn’t rule her out. I just don’t think they’d pick her over Tekken or Tales.

And possibly you in particular, too.By doing so, it'll be great, though it'll tick off the female demographic.
Yeah. And possibly you in particular, too.
Now THAT, we can agree on.I mean, so do I.
Although it means nothing 'as of yet', this stuff just 'looks' Smash-like to me.

I say Lara Croft is less likely than Jill. I mean, she is from Square Enix, and unless the next character from that company is her, I doubt she may get in at all.In terms of potential female DLC fighters, I’m definitely not opposed to KOS-MOS but I personally think at the moment, characters like Jill Valentine and Lara Croft feel like they have a better chance.
I'm leaning more on Heihachi such that we have a third-party character who isn't necessarily the "hero" of their game.KOS-MOS sounds like a more interesting choice to me than both Heihachi and Lloyd. If you are gonna pick a Mishima, I personally think Kazuya would be the most interesting.
The "Tales of Series" just looks like what is shown when showing off Mii Costumes. Now THAT, we can agree on.
When I saw those I had to question what it was for. While I don’t want to assume it’s Smash, it could very well be the series icon and the “Tales of series” thing could be for Mii costumes.
As we’ve said many times, time will tell!
Same with Nightmare for me.I'm leaning more on Heihachi such that we have a third-party character who isn't necessarily the "hero" of their game.
Any female character is fine in my book. That being said, my most wanted has barely any chances of happening at all T^TI say Lara Croft is less likely than Jill. I mean, she is from Square Enix, and unless the next character from that company is her, I doubt she may get in at all.
Please don't kill me, @Lesley Black Velvet .
I'll give street cred to Nightmare since he makes up for his badass design.Same with Nightmare for me.
Maybe they should add one of those in this game and then the other one later in a future Smash game. That way, we'd get two villain characters from two different third party games instead of heroes.Same with Nightmare for me.
The villain argument is pretty much on the same boat as the female argument.Maybe they should add one of those in this game and then the other one later in a future Smash game. That way, we'd get two villain characters from two different third party games instead of heroes.
At least the villains can be better than the female reps. Go ahead, hit me. Even though I am just kidding. The villain argument is pretty much on the same boat as the female argument.
That was my point though.I wouldn’t rule her out. I just don’t think they’d pick her over Tekken or Tales.

There’s no guarantee that Heihachi gets covered right after Terry if he’s in the game. I don’t really think that would rule Heihachi out.
