I like it better when "Leaker drama" is about insiders getting mad at eachother and ****flinging over information/piggybacking and not making trans people into a punchline

At this point I also feel like Verge has fallen off and isn't as reliable as he once was during Base Game.
He only got Hero right and even then it wasn't spot on (though nobody got it spot on so I guess it's not a big deal) plus Banjo but that was piggybacking off of others the week prior. He got Joker completely wrong and he seems to want to distance himself as far away from the Smash fanbase as possible or at least that's what Fatmanonice said.
I feel like we can't really take the dude's word anymore and he wants to avoid Smash nowadays plus Sabi is an asshole so I don't think we should give her attention either. I wish a different insider could come, be more credible than those two and allow us to move on from these two.

All I hope is that this doesn't end up painting memoryman as an innocent victim. Sabi absolutely sucks but memoryman is horrible.

Honestly, I can’t say I’m surprised. Sabi never appeared to be the courteous type. While I don’t like Memoryman, I don’t think this was the right move at all on Sabi’s part.

The tweet in question is painting him as a mentally ill bullying victim. The guy who, meanwhile, is a known transphobe who spammed various discord servers with images of dead, mutilated babies.
Having full context is always important.

Yes. We're humans. Nobody is perfect.
But if you're trying to be known as a reliable public figure, you should at least try to keep your more unlikeable tendencies outside of the public eye to maintain a good image.
Sabi didn't do that. And now it's out in the open for everyone to see.
And yes, the victim in this case is also someone who is notoriously bad at doing that as well.
But that doesn't make Sabi's behavior any more acceptable imo.

I wasn't really talking about how to be a reliable public figure, you know, or again, saying what Sabi did was good, which it was not. Still, you do have a strong point of public figures, especially about keeping things like unreliable tendencies to oneself. Memoryman may be bad, but Sabi was no better by doing what she did.

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone! Btw if you're wondering how I draw these, I draw them on paper first, and then trace over and color the drawing digitally. I know that soumds tedious, but I'm not very skilled digitally, my strong suit is pencil on paper.
