Jontron ended up with more subscribers then before after saying "Black people are diluting the gene pool" and hanging out with nazis, Pewdiepie is super obvious about the **** he kept pulling yet he's still at the top, Holly and ProJared got a ****ton of money by going "LOOK GUYS WE GOT HASHTAG CANCELLED", James Charles has more subscribers than before the **** allegations came to light alongside his casual racism, Contrapoints keeps doing ****ty stuff in general, Roman Polanski won an award this year despite having ***** a child and ran from the country, Liam Neeson's career hasn't gone downhill after he admitted he's INCREDIBLY racist, JK Rowling being a huge *** TERF does nothing against her, Butch Hartman still found success with his crowdfunding campaign after his outright malicious remarks to Tara Strong and so, hell, the only times I can recall celebs getting 'cancelled' is Winona Ryder's career dying for like 20 years when she got caught shoplifting and Vic Mignogna's absolute disaster of a lawsuit which he easily could have avoided by not filing said lawsuit

TLDR: 'cancel culture' doesn't exist and is used to dismiss criticisms or outright crimes of celebrities
EDIT: Oh yeah the Ion Fury and Heartskips devs doubled down on bigotry like nothing else yet they've gotten more fans as a result

Hell, a month or so ago she deleted her twitter account because of the criticism she got about giving nonbinary people **** alongside her typical "Only trans people who pass are valid" stuff and when she came back she dismissed it people yelling at her for having an opinion. It's called a hivemind that automatically berates ANY mistake and then goes on to treat said people or companies as irredeemable and can do no good as if the world isn't morally gray and we're all supposed to be some perfect idolized models of a "inclusive society" despite how hypocritical that and how much of an oxymoron "cancelling" in of itself is in the grand scheme of things.

Oh, you bit a girl when you were kids and that later caused her depression? Cancelled. This current internet zeitgeist we've allowed to manifest has become one where people can say they want to kill someone or assassinate someone and it's barely batted an eye at because of the "message and intent" behind those thoughts. Causes and correlations are mixed up and facts and logic are influenced by subjective emotions.

But it's all a joke haha nothing's become of it yet so there's totally no issue present.

You don't need to read the tweets when you see her behaivour in general surrounding the issue and how she reacts to criticism of it. It's like saying "Now I know we have video evidence that this man robbed the bank and multiple people are witnesses saying he robbed the bank, but he says he's innocent, would he really lie?"

Though there's how her subreddit has banned the word 'truscum', there's her tweets about enby people being bad because they're making her uncomfortable, has made some TERFy ass arguments towards transmen and the fact she's willing to play nice with Blaire White, a highly conservative woman and Buck Angel, who outed one of the Wachowskis out of spite cause his ex left him for one of the two and is also truscum, she gives a "Trans people are only valid if you're a transwoman and if you don't pass then you're faking it for attention". I don't feel like there's any need for me to go into detail on how good the classic items are. You should already know how useful Mega Mushrooms and Lightning are.

Peachette and Kimono Peach have a Mushroom Cannon, which fires multiple Mushrooms on the track. Would be more helpful if it didn't benefit the racers near you.

Both Rosalinas and Ludwig have Dash Ring which kinda functions like a Launch Star. Speeds up anyone who passes through. It's decent.

Diddy has Banana Barrels, which fires roughly 15 bananas on the course. Extremely useful and annoying.

Bowser and Dry Bowser have Bowser's Shell. Pretty reliable at hitting at least one person every time.

King Boo (LM) has Bob-omb Cannon. Really annoying and hard to avoid.

The female babies have Bubble, which is what I'd consider to be the worst item in the game. Protects you from harm while restricting you from drifting or using other items.

Peach, Daisy, and Wendy have Heart. Basically a shield.

Hakama Mario has Coin Box. Dumps dozens of coins on the track. Only useful for a those who are impatient at getting the 300 daily limit for coins and those who struggle to pick up 10 coins for the max speed boost.

But that's exactly the problem. Celebs act like asses or outright commit crimes and any criticisms are seen as people being assholes because they're being so mean to some famous rich person about their 'opinion', even if it's targeted towards people who admitted they sexually assaulted little girls. 'Cancel culture' is a buzzword like 'virtue signaling' to dismiss any potentially legitimate criticisms by just saying those two magical words.

I have never watched any of her more skit based videos. I watched the aesthetic about halfway through but just wasn’t interested in the format. And I think it’s foolish to take those over when the flat out states her opinions in her more analytical discussion videos, in which she blatantly states the exact opposite of what your accusing her of, especially since she was playing a character in the aesthetic.
