I wonder how difficult it would be for Nintendo to actually locate her source, I for some reason believe that she isn't on Nintendo's radar as probably the impact she makes is small at most and pretty much non-existent. Now if there was money involved, you bet they would've acted already.

The thing is that the leak impact is small if you think about it, Polar is not leaking stuff months in advance and most people interested in her info are people who are planning to buy **** from Nintendo. Now if she leaked stuff with a lot of anticipation, stuff like deals or patents could bring monetary loses.
The non-profit fan games thing, really makes no sense whatsoever.
I remember that being somewhat mentioned a few months ago, can't recall if it was mentioned as a remake or remaster though.

I'm purposely choosing to respond to this because I'm not in the mood for more "leak talk".
The REAL turning point was Cars 2. Everything about it felt like a blatant cash grab. The story was awful, it had little to no meaningful character development, and instead of focusing on racing and stuff actually relevant to a world full of talking cars, they went with some generic secret agent shtick.
What irritates more than anything is how people regard this as Pixar's lowest moment due to how little cash it raked in. The movie itself wasn't bad. A tad slow at times, and maybe the cast could've been a little bigger, but the film was still well within C+ territory.

I hope all the Metroid promotion in Ultimate pays off. I'd really like to see this franchise pull off a FE and permanently get out of video game limbo.

I swear to god a new Contra would make the E3 for me, it would be the best reveal given by how ****ing amazing the series is. Hopefully a new Castlevania is also in development.

Glad to see the FF8 remaster, despite being an oddball in the franchise I always wanted to play it as I found some of its unique mechanics pretty interesting. I look forward to seeing how they update the game with the remaster, even if it's just minor touches here and there.

The whole entire indie game kickstater goldrush from 2012-15 was funny cause a majority games ended up never releasing or ended up as pure dissapointments

Not sure how you feel about Hollow Knight or Shantae Half Genie Hero. People liked those. And I guess those Banner Saga games too, since 1 and 3 were crowd funded.

Tho, while my memory may be lying, I think MM9 & Mega Man getting into Smash 4 were the reasons I ended up taking a deeper look into the MM franchise, so hey, I guess MM9 did something right for me.

Speaking of Indie Mega Man, have you tried 20XX? It's Mega Man X but as a Rogue-lite. Much more worthy successor than MN9.

Seems alright. Not a huge fan of Rouge-like style games. More of a fan of set upgrades/upgrade locations. I heard a Robot Named Fight is also pretty decent if you like that style as well. Though that one is more Metroid Inspired, it has some Mega Man influence.
