Why does this matter? Why do people care about this? I never understood why people would want to buy a game they know nothing about just for the sake of discovering it on their own. Cuz it’s kinda lame to play a game and know beat by beat what’s gonna happen. I like not knowing things, makes it exciting. Like when I was a kid who just got a copy of Pokémon white.

Filling out the pokedex has always had trading involved. I don't see the problem here.

I'm kinda digging all the Gigantamax Pokemon being showed today, Meowth looks like a ghost which is funny. I'm hoping that there are more Gigantamax Pokemon that are from Gen 2 to 7. Overall while I'm not impressed that much with SwSh, I still plan to get it as it looks solid just like pretty much every mainline Pokemon game.

Main con for the game is the dex not being full but at the same time I normally like to play the games with a team based on the new region, so it doesn't affect me personally.

If you can, put on a show or YouTube video that you like but have already seen before and watch that. It'll allow your mind to concentrate on that, but not so much so that it keeps you awake, and should help you fall asleep. Works for me, usually.

I've found that Did You Know Gaming videos are good for this, since they're just narrating specific and sometimes complicated information that requires your mind to think about it, but it's not something that's so engaging that it's keeping you awake.

I appreciate the suggestion.

What I ended up doing though is just laying in bed staring at the wall for a while before I felt tired enough to fall asleep. It was definitely 2-2:30am or something like that, maybe even 3am. I woke up an hour and a half ago but didn't start moving until an hour earlier.
