You can get them in either game as long as you have let’s go save data on your switch.

To get G-Pikachu, you need to have save data on your Switch of Let's Go Pikachu.

To get G-Eevee, you need to have save data on your Switch of Let's Go Eevee.

To get G-Meowth, you need to simply get Sw or Sh and obtain the limited time Mystery Gift event that ends in mid January.

Good thing I bro wasted $60 on Let's Go Pikachu. Now I get to have my boy waddle.

Seems pretty close to what everyone else thinks.

Also, I wouldn't worry about Gen 1 pandering just yet. This is the first trailer to feature Gigantamax evolutions for non Gen VIII Pokemon. If Obstagoon is a thing, then I highly doubt Gen 1 is getting all the glory. Like many other things, I think they're saving the rest for the release.

Hm, so Butterfree's wings just by flapping stir up harsh winds strong enough to lift a 10-ton truck off the ground while simultaneously scattering poison around that given area as well as having the ability to passively inflict paralysis and drowsiness.

It's a shame there's a paywall though. Like, having to own "Let's Go Pikachu" in order to get it? Seems tedious.

Technically, all you have to do is boot up the game and get to the point where you can save.

So, if you were able to download a ROM onto the Switch itself, and edit it so that the switch thinks it's either Let's GO game, theoretically speaking, it could be possible to bypass that paywall.
Obviously, you would have to hack your Switch, which means you would be liable to be bricked and other possible dangers(such as being blacklisted from online)
So, It might not be worth it.

Well, here's how I see it, and you're free to disagree, as i won't stop you.

The point of these two are to thank the consumer for buying the product. Even if it convinces you to buy the product, it still a gift for buying it regardless.

I understand why it's not the most awesome thing in the world, but it's not really a sin either. It's in that weird middle ground where I can understand both sides.

Honestly, I can live without either of them. I'm no collector, and there are other ways to get them. Maybe not legitimately, but there are ways.
