I was kinda disappointed that they just used the same formula again for the Banjo trailer. I wouldn’t want to see it again, as it would just get old.

It'd be a nice trilogy of connected reveals though wouldn't you say?

Poll made by Sabi. Sora just keeps making it into the top 3. I'm very convinced we'll be among the characters beyond the Pass given Sakurai's two statements "Pleasing as many fans" and "Bringing together many worlds".

Surprised at how low Crash is. In almost every poll I've seen, he's usually number 1 or not too far off. Also surprised at how high up the Heavy and Reimu are.

Not familiar with Shantae, and I've only played Kingdom Hearts 1 and Chain of Memories (I've started 2), but I feel like a Crash Bandicoot reveal should try to incorporate this if at all possible:

I could see a Dante trailer starting with a fake-out that makes it seem like it's a new game/port announcement, like Isabelle or Joker (don't know whether DMC3, 4, or 5 would work better for that) before transitioning to Smash gameplay (Bayonetta and Ryu/Ken/Mega Man would ideally be in there somewhere), and I'd like to see Geno as the seventh or eighth character so the Seven Stars could be incorporated in some way.

Spoiler: Crash Bandicoot+

Mario runs on stage jumps, throws cappy, jumps, and lands on a platform across the gap, collecting a power moon. A rustling is seen in the trees behind him. Sonic is shown running. He parcoures up a shaft and onto the platform, into the goal ring and does a win pose. A black streak flies by in the sky behind him. Banjo and Kazooie fly through the skies and snatch a Jiggy, landing on the platform and doing the Banjo dance. The camera pans out to show they were all on the same platform. They all start laughing before Sonic is hit in the face with a fruit, leaving a purple mark. Mario laughs harder before getting singed by fire. The three heroes turn to see Spyro and Crash standing there getting simultaneous splash screens. The music from the reignited reveal trailer remixed with Crash music begins playing and Spyro says “Look’s like we’ve got some things to do!” and Crash giggles. Gameplay is shown off before the logo screen. The final shot is of Crash doing the Crash dance while Spyro rolls his eyes.

Spoiler: Dante

Bayonetta is seen fighting puppet fighters. She knocks them out and says “Two down!”. Rodin’s voice is heard as he tells her not to get careless because “a challenger approaches”. (See where i’m going with this). We hear a voice say “Jackpot!”, Bayonetta Witch Times around a storm of bullets as Dante appears. They fight. Gameplay as Dante brags about his abilities (while simultaneously describing his moves). Final sting is the two of them fighting more.

Spoiler: Geno

A group of young Toads are playing with toys in their house. They hear noise outside and run to watch the Smash Battle. The toy stirs to life and begins to grow. Mario is outside fighting alongside Peach and Bowser against Ganondorf. Ganondorf is then nailed by a powerful laser from offscreen. Triumphant music swells as Geno is revealed. Gameplay is shown as Geno assists Mario and the others in fighting. The Mario RPG stage makes a point of featuring its Mallow cameo. The final sting is the four of them fighting Ganondorf again, who has transformed into Ganon.

This one starts as Sora, Donald, and Goofey in the gummi ship looking for the power of waking like in Kingdom Hearts 3. We don’t know it’s a smash trailer yet. Sora directs them towards a new world he senses that’s just been created. On the way there they are assailed by enemy ships. It’s important that you never see them, but they’re using familiar sound effects. The Gummi Ship Crash lands onto the new planet, and we see it’s the World of Light. The ships land. It’s an arwing and Samus’s gunship. Puppet Fighter versions of Fox and Samus step out. Sora tells his friends to stay back. He brandished the keyblade and his splash screen appears. Gameplay commences Donald and Goofey begin to commentate on the trailer like Palutena or the Phantom Theives. Leading up to them assisting in the Final Smash. The final shot is Sora sending there are others in need, and running off to assist in the battle from the end of Hero’s trailer.

Pretty good ones. I think I like Crash's and Spyro's the most. That'd be sweet if we got a duo reveal of those two.

Pretty good. I went to see my grandma for her birthday, and since I have the day off, I'm going to rewatch Terminator 2 (one of my favourite movies) and give Stranger Things a try.

Didn’t the Reignited trilogy do super well there?

Also. Smash is sold in more regions than just Japan. He can add a character that’s not popular there. In fact it would be very smart for him to do so.

That's because September earthquake theorists thought the Direct was delayed because of Isaac. When that didn't happen, a lot of people threw Isabelle under the bus because she was supposed to be an Echo and instead she "stole" Issac's spot.
