TTYD was kinda just ok in all honesty, the gameplay changes from 64 were minimal, backtracking was annoying and stuff like audience and stage rng was kinda crappy most of the time.

Because P5 takes place a few years after P4. Investigation Team can't use their high school uniforms. That means they're going to draw some characters from scratch even though they have movesets for them. It might prevent them from bringing everyone back.I don’t know why they wouldn’t. 4 Arena had characters from 3 in it.
It's not like all of their games are suddenly be 3D. Cross Tag Battle still reuses sprites, for example. If they work, they don't need a ditch a lower-price development way suitable for a spin-off game.Plus, Arc System Works does 3D modeling now. Every character is gonna have to be made from scratch.
Give me a gifting option, n64 and GCN online, and more sales instead tbh.Wouldn’t it be nice if you got a free eshop voucher for one game with NSO?

As a collective unit, yeah, the NSMB games are kinda rehashy.New Super Mario is actually a sham. It's why I never bought any of em.
Besides, Donkey Kong is their best side scrolling platformer.
Thank goodness someone appreciates this game. It was a huge part of my childhood, and even today I still love it. People usually group it with the others and call it generic, uninspired, lazy, etc. But it was only the second game in the series, and like you said it added so much more from the original, as well as finally bringing back the Koopalings. As a collective unit, yeah, the NSMB games are kinda rehashy.
...But I will absolutely defend New Super Mario Bros. Wii as one of the best 2D Mario games, to the point where I'd even put it above Super Mario World.
Mainly because it added so much from the original DS game. Four player co-op, Yoshi integration, the return of the Koopalings after almost two decades, the Penguin Suit which made water levels incredibly fun, the Propeller Mushroom which gave tons of movement options, a nice set of challenging secret worlds, and what is in my opinion the best 2D Bowser fight, complete with amazing boss music. And it came in a red case.
The problem is that the New subseries peaked with this game. U plateaued and 2 dropped the ball.
That description of FLUDD pretty much exactly sounds like Fi lmaoLubba just gets hate for not being Rosalina. He was a downgrade from her and Polari, but his character is actually pretty charming.
If any companion deserves hate, hate on FLUDD. It has no personality whatsoever because it's supposed to be a robotic servant. Yet for whatever reason you're expected to have some deep personal relationship with it when it bites the dust and temporarily "dies".
I tried it once. Couldn’t get a hang of the controls.Thank goodness someone appreciates this game. It was a huge part of my childhood, and even today I still love it. I'm sure a lot of people didn't get a hang of the controls at first. But putting down a game just because you couldn't get the hang of it immediately will never allow you to improve.I tried it once. Couldn’t get a hang of the controls.
Well. I was also trying it in my church’s rec room. And then I had to go home and I obviously didn’t take it with me. I don’t own a copy myself.I'm sure a lot of people didn't get a hang of the controls at first. I know I certainly wasn't good at smash the first time I played, in fact I was trash at it. But I kept playing, and eventually got the hang of it. Now I'm really good at smash.
Huh, I also played the game for the first time in a church rec room. The only chances I had to improve my skill was when I rented the game from said library.Well. I could probably snag it from there and nobody would notice or care tbh. Maybe next time I’m home.Huh, I also played the game for the first time in a church rec room. The only chances I had to improve my skill was when I rented the game from said library.
That game was so elusive for me back then, as I could only play it through rentals. But actually getting to play it felt so rewarding. Those were the days...
Oh yeah, I own the game now btw
Time to bring in air-dashing into 2D Mario. Also Super Mario 64 is what defined 3d platformers to begin with in a time where 2d games were all the rage. Really, I'm not buying 3d Mario as safe as you'd expect.
Love it or hate it, FLUDD made Mario Sunshine more than Super Mario 64 2 and gave the player a lot of fun ways to travel the worlds.
Galaxy is basically Sunshine but refined and IN SPACE
3D World is what happens when you take the 2d formula and expand it into 3d with multiplayer, bright worlds, and a jazzin' soundtrack.
This is also ignoring spinoffs.
2D Mario needs a reboot of some kind, though. Not even the NES games were as formulaic and dry as the New Super Mario Bros series.
Fun Fact: my local GameStop gets a ton of Yoshi Egg Lights in stock specifically because of meI got a new night light.

The WILD C.A.T.S cartoon, but I didn't watch while it was airing. Also, I don't consider Dave the Barbarian that because that show slapped.Alright, subject change.
What is the most obscure cartoon you know of?

Don't diss FLUUD like that. That ***** had our backs. Literally. That description of FLUDD pretty much exactly sounds like Fi lmao
Agreed.Just wanna say that Windows10 update 1903 is ****ing terrible.
Basically, Mario would almost never leave the ground.Obviously the best Mario partner is Cappy, though.
Honestly? If they combined all of the partners in some conglomerate of Sunshine, Galaxy, and Odyssey? There would never be a game as versatile in terms of the sheer amount of movement options and I feel that looking back at what each partner can add to Mario's moveset, they'd all blend in pretty well with each other. Cappy takes the two buttons for input he already had, F.L.U.D.D. takes the rest, and Baby Luma obviously just needs a flick of the Joycon.
That's normal television on Yoshi's Island. The real guilty pleasure stuff is when it involves non-ediblesWatching a romantic comedy called Pizza my Heart.
This is where my life is.
Super Mario: The Floor Is Lava Edition.Basically, Mario would almost never leave the ground.
Spin Jump into FLUDD, Cap toss, FLUDD cancel, Cap toss cancel, ect ect. And finish with a Luma Jump.
Can I buy them with V bucks? The new Pokémon TCG has special “V” cards.
