Phoenix manages to discover the Metaverse, as well as Akechi and Shido’s entire plan over the course of three days, and wins in trial, thus preventing the events of Persona 5 from ever happening.

I'd prefer something like Ace Attorney v Persona. From what I've seen, in terms of writing style and setting, then Persona and AA could make something work.

In my experience, which basically consists of Yakuza Zero, the main characters are... not very good at being criminals. Kiryu is against scams, extortion, murder (or at least guns), etc., and he seems more like a Robin Hood type at best, or a Don Corleone from the Godfather type at worst.

My idea was that Phoenix would be matching wits with Kiryu, trying to bring down the Yakuza in general. But it looks like that won't work.
