Eh. No point keeping a Smashboards account after Ultimate speculation so I'm fine with this. If anything, Shoto and Tots showed that you can delete your accounts and still come back.

Kung Lao's quest to avenge his ancestor is cut short by Goro having a mental breakdown, because of some teen stealing from his head cave, and being unable to compete in a Mortal Kombat tournament ever again, leaving Lao with no closure whatsoever for the rest of his life. With how NRS treated him in MK11, this wouldn't even be out of line tbh.

Sora by leaps and bounds. Sakurai would probably have to pay pocket change at best for Geno, Square got no plans for him.

Definitely Sora. For Sora you have to go through one of the biggest companies period being Disney and they may not want to play ball with Nintendo. Sure on the other hand they could absolutely work well with Nintendo as they already made MUA3 a Nintendo exclusive and aired the 2018 Smash invitational but they're still one of the biggest companies of all time and their greed is practically limitless.

Geno on the other hand already has his foot half way through the door as a Spirit which already shows they can acquire the rights to him all they need to do at this point is go the extra mile and make him a fighter, Even if his rights are a mess at least he belongs to Nintendo in some way shape or form being a Mario character and all.
