Considering all of the Heroes' voices mainly consist of grunts and whatnot, much like Kirby, Dedede and Ness, I don't see any issue of the Heroes having no English VAs. And nobody minds Kirby, Dedede and Ness having no English VA.

Well. Yeah. It’s a shame. I’m not saying that that’s bad. What IS bad (imo) is that his contract stated that HE was the only one who could voice cloud in English. They couldn’t even get a cheap sound-alike. Well. It’s not bad, more frustrating. And I very much doubt the new guy (Star of Pretty Little Liers and Teen Wolf) has any less of a contract.

Heroes say the spells they're casting, right? Sakurai pointed that out iirc
Ness doesn't say anything but English and Kirby actually DOES speak English, they had his actress ssy Shulk's Monado Arts in English alongside Japanese

They do in the JP version only and I think it's more due to the localised names of the spells rather than the language cause one of the moves they say has them saying "Giga". On a side note, they only seem to say the spells that are on their neutral and side specials(and possibly their up special), as I haven't found them saying anything related to the spells in the menu, like Bounce or Zoom.

And yes, Ness and Kirby's Japanese VA does speak English for them. I never said they didn't speak English.

Just a reminder that 4chan posts can be edited and they won't show an edited thing to show that it was edited. And it certainly doesn't help that there is no link to the post, combined with that supposedly, the poster deleted the post shortly after it was made.

I'm just saying, let's try not to take it seriously, as it has just as much chance of being fake.

No. I'm saying he probably has the exact same contract as Steve Burton. Honestly, because of his celebrity status, probably an even stricter one.

I would love it if they figured out a way to finally give Cloud English dialogue. But it doesn't sound like it's possible unless Square cared enough to foot the bill or something.
