Literally the only radio channel I listen to. Used to only listen to it on the weekends for shows like "The Moth" and "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" but I've come to really appreciate their hourly news updates and overall coverage. When I stay up late I often listen to their partnered BBC livecast too. RIP Car Talk

On Point is probably my favorite news show, especially for their Friday News Roundup. 1A is also pretty enjoyable as they often do 2-4 segments covering multiple topics, they do a lot of international news, and I appriciate the host's perspective given his race & sexual orientation.

So, I came to a conclusion about the Smash announcements the other day. This might be obvious, but I'm going to say it anyway.

I think they announced that more characters are in development when they did for a very specific reason, they knew a lot of people wouldn't react well to Terry because he's more of a niche character and there were going to be a lot of people angry that he "took a more popular character's spot."

I've seen Wait Wait live a couple times. It's even funnier in person.

I think it was just pass reaching its end.

Sakurai should now that Smash fans get angry over almost anything by now.

I think if that was the case it would have made more sense and would have had a much larger positive reaction if they announced it with the final character, like Namco did with Cassandra and the Soul Calibur 6 season pass.

I mean, "save the most hype reveal to last" isn't really Nintendo's style.

Not saying these dudes don't have their fans, but I don't think many people genuinely consider them "the best for last". Nintendo usually shows us the best first, which makes more sense from a marketing standpoint.

Being honest here, i feel at a point where Ultimate has pleased me so much that I’ll just try out all of the upcoming characters even if I know nothing about them.

Outside of Crash, I got literally all the stuff I asked for including Metroid and Dragon Quest stuff. Picks such as Terry have also made me gain interest on new series I now want to get into whenever I have the chance. Overall, Ultimate has already become perfect for me, even if it may not have Crash yet it surely has become one of the best titles on the current generation of games and even history.


That alongside the fact life’s going pretty great for me since june and Switch is slowly adding stuff I really love on their library such as the Crash, Metroid and Dragon Quest franchises alongside unrelated stuff of my taste. I’m fully pleased and right now I just really want to support each character added to the game.
