I'm not sure if anyone had posted this, but apparently within the Japanese version of the Nintendo Direct they unveiled a remake of the Famicom Tantei Club aka Famicom Detective Club which features Ayumi Tachibana (if anyone remembered that she was featured as one of the collectable trophies back in Melee.)

If anyone is interested, here is the link to the petition by GoodGrief741 if anyone wants to sign this to get the game to be localised for the West. Feel free to spread the message around.

I mean if you want my opinion on it itd a cute mechanic but it'll just be cut in a game or 2 so I cant care about it, and I'd wager that's how most people see it. Cute, but in the end a waste of resources.

Tbf, it's just an extra, harmless side mode. And given how popular the Chao Garden was in the Sonic Adventure Duology, people love those little cute things, some spend most of their time in those tasks than actually playong the game. And if it's worth it to them, then, well, yeah.

With that said, I highly doubt curry was the reason on why there are Pokemon cuts. They're grasping at straws if they want to blame the curry.

I'd say that the Devil Gene tattoo would be a perfect symbol for the series in Smash. It's been connected to the main story ever since Tekken 2 with Devil Kazuya's debut and is very much Tekken's Satsui no Hado.

Reminds me of how strange i find if that the Satsui no Hado kanji from the Ragin Demon move isn't Street Fighter's symbol. I guess now I just hope against hope my Kazuya theory it true and we can have Street Fighter, Tekken, and King of Fighters (i know it's Fatal Fury but shush) all in Smash.

Sakurai seems to really revere fighting games now that I think about it. There's the love he's given Street Fighter and Virtua Fighter, plus the Tekken mii costumes in the past. Now with Terry showing up.... Kazuya is starting to feel pretty possible.

Why would it not be? It sold millions, still has an active fanbase after 4+ years(which most indie games can't attest to, aside from the big hitters like FNAF) and occasionally has new content made.

The curry system seems to have been made with "low resources/manpower" in mind. That's why it's curry and only curry rather then a larger system. That said I don't really care for the mode so *shrug*.

It's just a side feature of Pokemon Camp, which is the natural extention of Amie/Refresh, so that is a system them they'll sort of building off from the past.

That's going to be the counter argument to every good thing SwSh gets.

I think at the end of the day, that, despite how much people may not like it, it's important to treat both sides with respect and dignity.

People like myself who are dexit should treat people who are excited for the game with respect and encouragement.

However, on the flipside, people who are excited for the game shouldn't piss on people who aren't, as long as they're being respectful and not making an ass of themselves.

Depends on if they add Ultimax characters. Which is 50/50 imo.
In terms of Arena characters, Shadow Labrys and Elizabeth can still be added (although I highly doubt the former will happen).
This is of course assuming that we do get another P4A character, which isn't guaranteed.


And in terms of the Pokemon curry mode, it's cute. Nice little side mode. Does it really amount to much in the end, not really imo.

My guess is that people were hoping for something more substantial (like starter evos) since we're only about 2 months away from release. But in the end, it really wasn't that big of an announcement.

I like Kazuya's chances better because he has his devil form for added moveset potential, which he is able to fluidly switch between in Tekken 7 and TTT2, unlike Jin who's devil form has consistently remained a separate character. He's also been around much longer than Jin. While Heihachi has as well, Heihachi's voice actor recently passed. I doubt Harada would want to debut a new actor for the character in Smash. And, while this isn't much, in Street Fighter x Tekken, Kazuya was Ryu's rival. Not to mention, the guest characters Toro and Kuro (the sony cats) borrowed two characters movesets. Toro used Ryu, and Kuro used Kazuya.
